Visions of Granders: Spearfish and Bullets

The early summer fishing is already heating up for Capt. Chris Donato and Joe Byrum, fishing the calm waters off Kona, Hawaii, aboard Benchmark, Donato’s beautifully restored 37-foot Merritt. In this second video of the Visions of Granders series, the team target shortbill spearfish, one of the most elusive of the world’s billfish species. They also offer some excellent advice on how to fish bullet-headed lures for marlin and other pelagics.

Cool video yes bullets work here in Florida and Bahamas Gulf Stream side we catch a fair share whites and couple blues what a pain in the ass to get running right but when it’s on it’s on the rough it is the easier to run for me 8 waves back only issue keeping the dolphins off the thing

your videos are way over produced . who plays music when someone is trying to talk . natural sounds are better . which you do not have . the videos are almost un watchable
