@@ayomideolabode6741 It's pretty fun! Definatley a learning curve for me as I'm certainly no expert in wind instruments. It has the feel of something more like a clarinet than a saxophone to play. If it's an electric sax youre after, theres better suited options but really it's more it's own thing than a substitute for either, definatley leans closer to a clarinet though. If you're used to wind instruments you'll probably take to it quite well once you learn the fingering. Although I'm much more piano oriented and still got on with it reasonably well. I've only really touched the surface myself, but being an electronic instrument it can do a lot of fancy things. Best comparison I can make is it's like how you can change the voices on an electric keyboard but in wind instrument form, along with being a midi device you can play into a computer for a variety of applications. The pitch slider takes some getting used to as I can't think of another instrument that really has one in their fashion, but it's very versatile once you get to grips with it! I really experiment more with it than play very seriously, but it's a reasonable price for something pretty unique so it's an easy recommend from me - hope that helps!

All those wires in the background leads me to believe that you figured out how get a MIDI sax to sound very convincing! HAHA!!! Never liked MIDI sax but this is pretty darn close!! That's great!! What are the plug-ins? Would be a great practice tool for when I get lazy and don't want to get my horns out! HAHA!

But now I need to find a modern midi tone generator that works with the breath velocity control, reed pressure, pitch bend rocker, and the keys themselves. It's hard to find modern info on this...

Tem uma versão mais barata muito interessante chamada Aerophone Mini que serve mais para iniciantes, tem até um App oficial de ensino, mas se você tem esse interesse em aprender saxofone recomendo começar com o sax alto comum, você pode entrar no Olx e achar opções bem baratas, recomendo Eagle que é uma marca bem custo benefício
Olá Amigo. Quanto ao efeito "Growl", não é uma característica do EWI. Eu tive que programá-lo no meu rack Vst (Cantabile) para que, quando soprar com força, ele apareça. O processo é um pouco complicado, pois temos que fazer isso via "CC" (Mudança de controle) via Midi. Growl, no sax Vst, é o controle "21". Espero ter ajudado. Abraços.

Hi there, are you using a special wireless midi system or is this the 5000 that comes with the wireless system. I'm using the EWI USB and using a Widi Uhost with a bluetooth dongle and the notes keep choking. but when I play with the connected USB cable I dont have that problem.
The tones I use are not from the EWI5000. I use Vsts installed on my notebook, and I also use sounds from my "Ketron SD1" Keyboard via Midi. I have no problems with my Bluetooth midi system. I use: www.cme-pro.com/widi-master/. Hope this helps.

I have the widi master, and also the widi Uhost, the problem i have is that the Akai EWI USB doesn't have the regular midi ports so the widi master won't work for me. However the widi Uhost connected to a the widi but does't work great. The notes will stuck on each other and create a polyphonic sound, but if I used the EWI USB with a usb cord i never get the problem of notes sticking. and the sax patches suppled with Aria software is not good at all.

The mouthpiece from the Aerophone by Roland resembles a sax mouthpiece a bit more, maybe check that out
