    I really like how James does the tours. He's very thorough, he knows his stuff including minor details and we can feel that he loves the brand. I can't wait to call his mobile and ask him for a few personal specs but in the meantime keep it up.

    Great Boat. Thorough tour, just a bit sea sick from the fast camera panning back and forth. Otherwise great showing!

    Great yacht! Awesome in fact but I cannot wait to see the Ocean Club Ninety! I think that yacht will literally break the mould! Love watching these vlogs especially during the current Covid-19 issues. Really takes your mind off things. Thank you

    What a great layout, that bow cabin could be given to the vessel captain if you are going to have a large crew.

    Don’t know why carpet in a boat. First time out in mine, different yacht, first glass of wine so not even feeling anything, was getting used to the ship, tripped and spilled my glass on a white carpet……ya, looked that good. Changed it straight away after that.

    I cannot get over the price and what you get for it. My boat is only 15 16 ft longer and I paid double last year for that. Normally we get a new boat every two years but seeing this year we cannot even leave our own dock we might go three years.
    I showed my wife this video and she has already told me that if things ever get back to normal at the end of the year at the last boat show, she wants to check one of these out.
    for anybody who wants to buy a boat of this caliber you really do not want to start chartering your boat. I don't know how it is in the UK I'm in the USA and it's a horror show for the owner of chartering their personal boats out. for some people it makes sense to them. Your boats sitting why not make money with it. The hidden cost of this well absolutely wipe away any profit you might make. I have a few friends who have all tried doing this and every single one of them had major regrets. You must remember the people that you are letting on to your boat are complete strangers to you. If you have a good crew a lot of the issues can be caught early on. The biggest thing is people stealing expensive pieces of equipment and stealing your personal items. Then you have the ones who damaged different parts of your boat. Very close friends of ours last year had to fly back to the States. The crew that the owner had running the boat hit something in the water. The crew loaded all their belongings into the tender and went to shore and left the boat sinking. The only good thing that came out of it was the captain was charged. The real blessing was nobody got hurt.
    Great video I saved this video so I am reminded what to look at when we go to the boat show. I look forward to watching more of your videos.

    Great detailed video
    About the boat; support beams in aft cockpit more to the back, by that a roll wind screen could be fitted in between facing the stern. And no marble, marble is for mausoleums

    Hongkong port to Manila port is 886 nautical miles. Smaller boat with few thousand liters will never reach Philippines. This 2020 Sunseeker 86 or 2020 Princess 85 have the same fuel capacity of 11,000 liters and a range of more than 1,000 nm at lower speed.

    James, how many months to build and assemble completely the Sunseeker 86? Would it be possible to upgrade the engine to MTU V12 2638 Hp or MTU V16 2638 Hp?

    • @TheVirtualYachtBroker
      @TheVirtualYachtBroker  4 роки тому

      Hi Sanusi, it takes around 9 months to build an 86 Yacht start to finish. The largest engines are the 12v 1950hp. Drop me an email to James.lumley@sunseekersouthampton.com and we can discuss what other options might be possible.

    Do most buyers of this size sunseeker drive/pilot their own yachts or hire crews?

    • @rykehuss3435
      @rykehuss3435 4 роки тому +3

      I suppose it depends on the owner. This could be operated by a crew of 3. Owner couple + 1 crewmember, for example. I would never want to be just a passenger on my own boat, but for some owners I suppose its just a floating cocktail lounge, youre there for the ride and service.

    • @TheVirtualYachtBroker
      @TheVirtualYachtBroker  4 роки тому +1

      As above, the majority of yachts this size generally have some kind of captain/crew. We have a few owners who like to do everything themselves (with their families), but if she was operating for charter, there would likely be 4 crew onboard - captain, chef, hostess, deckhand (with overlapping roles) to a certain extent.
      From a regulatory point of view, up to circa 95ft is doable as a private individual, then it gets more complicated (above what we call 24M load line).

    better off putting an island between the salon and dining table and put the TV there instead of at the far end.

    • @TheVirtualYachtBroker
      @TheVirtualYachtBroker  4 роки тому

      Yup this is also a common factory option. It actually works (in my opinion) slightly better with the tv on the bulkhead, as it can be easily seen from anywhere in that area, but some clients prefer to effectively break up the dining/lounge area.
      We also do an option where the tv sits on the starboard side in lieu of the sofa.
      Hopefully something to suit all preferences.

      I think it's in the perfect area to be able to eat and watch TV. Maybe they can custom put a drop-down TV behind one side of the sofas. Maybe even opt for reclining cinema chairs on one side.

    Hi James. We chatted recently about being able to visit you in Soton Sunseeker for a tour. I'm still very interested, and still battling major health issues. So it might be a while before I can visit. I sold my car last Sunday and looking for a cheap automatic for next 6yrs when lian paid. So can buy nicer bmw last shape E92 335i, or first shape 435i 440i. I might be able to pop down when I get my next cheap little rust bucket. I really appreciate that you are happy to let me visit. Please be patient, cause My health ruibs any plans I make. So will visit, but could be a while. I love this 86. Do you get any of the larger vessels in Burseldon? Might be nice to visit the bigger yards in a few years when my operations done. Til then I look forward to meeting you in Southampton Sunseeker yard. Hopefully I might win lottery lol.
