We already have a hint that Palli and one other cousin were killed by Aziz in the ending of the movie. I have an input here. Remember that last scene where the brothers say "mera bhai bol nahin sakta..." and "mera bhai sun nahin sakta"? When I saw that scene for the first time, I immediately thought the brothers would bond with each other. But sadly, that didn't happen. I think the director deliberately used the dialogues to highlight the fact that the brothers could reconcile their differences if they wanted to, and complement each other.
