To tell you a bit of his background. He got bullied when he was young just because his voice didn't change when puberty came but that was not his choice and people called him names..... because of that he didn't sing in front of people for a long time and he even tried to tone down his voice when he speaks. It takes a long time for him to accept his own voice again and gets where he is now.
He has studied Dentistry in Ukraine when he was young but because of the language barriers, he changes to studied Classical music there instead. His goal is to combine Classical and Pop music together to introduce to those who didn't know what Classical music is. His vocal range is very wide and his breath control is very good. He is a polite, funny, and humble guy.
He can sing at least over 12 different languages. He can even sing 6 different voices in one song which is what you guys are reacting to on this video. He also got a song that sings without lyrics, just by humming, and still touches our souls. His music has so many different genres.
If you are willing to dig into his performances, you will be amazed by his talents. A lot of music can heal people's bodies but not many can heal people,'s, souls. Zhou Shen's music is one of them that can heal your soul. Thank you again for reacting to Zhou Shen's performance.

this song was originally written for a virtual singer, who obviously doesn’t need to breathe. this is part of how difficult this song is, and he sings it with all the voices of the different characters in the story, it is incredible.
but he has a broad range of songs and applies appropriate singing style and techniques to each and every song.
but one thing always remain the same. his voice has the ability to reach into your soul and touches it. everyone listening to him always complains about goosebumps, and a lot of times they just start to tear and cry with the emotion.
Zhou Shen's voice is soft, crystal clear and angelic. His singing is so natural that it is full of emotions and expressions with hardly any trace of using the techniques for ordinary people.
Zhou Shen speaking voice sounds like a 11-12 years old boy. His singing voice naturally sounds like a female high pitched voice and it is NOT nurtured or gained by training. He sings comfortably or effortlessly in high-pitched female singer's vocal ranges with various emotions. He can also tune his voice into a baritone range which female singers usually cannot reach. He is unique.

He sang a lot even as a young child and he was the leading singer in his elementary school's choir. He loves singing and practices a lot except for the junior middle schools years. He was then teased and mocked frequently because he maintained the childlike voice while his fellow pupils were changing. He felt humiliation therefore tended to hide his voice and did not sing at all in these years. He started sing again in high school and began to perform online-singing as well. After graduated from high school, he entered a Ukraine college in 2011(2012?) to study dentistry as his parents wished. One year later, he transferred to Lviv National Musical Academy in Ukraine for studying Bel canto against his parents' instruction. At the age of 20, he decided to change the path and pursue his music dream. Otherwise, we would not have seen the popular singer Zhou Shen of today.
He did his TV debut in 2014. His popularity has been growing over these years. He has become a super in the past two years. He has got the talent in singing and has trained/practiced a lot for that as well. He can perform songs superbly in over 10 different languages while native speakers cannot spot the accents. He is very versatile. He can sings in differen genres and in different voices.
He is down down to earth and humble. He is smart and has got a wit and hilarious personality. He has been in high demand for many kinds of variety-shows which is not limited to the musics.

Thanks for your reaction. This song is super hard to sing. Actually its sang by two vertual singers.. The most difficult part I believe is to sing the names. They are tongue twisters. I learned that ZS requested with the director if he was allowed to perform this type of song for the contest show Singer2020. It was the last minute decision, it took him literally only 1 or 2 days to practice before the show!

Hello, this song has an English translation to it in another video of it.
The narrator begins telling the story, "Once upon a time" and tells of a princess stolen by a dragon. The king asks who has the heart to go get her back.
Second voice is the warrior and he sings.
The narrator continues saying the king wants to know the warrior's name.

King says "excuse me?"

He has such range in the genres and voice abilities he can use. Those are not judges but fellow performers. It was filmed during COVID so the performers were not filmed together. He is known for his soprano voice and ethereal quality. He just gets better and better. He sounds even better now. He is the king of Chinese movie OSTs. His voice is heavenly.
