    So glad I found your channel. I haven’t bought a saw yet and so far you have given me so much information. I primarily want to use my saw for home diy projects, such as baseboards, mouldings, and wall accents. So far, I think the mitre saw is probably my best bet. You also explained the kerf so that I finally “get it”. Thank you again, still learning……

      You can use any side of the plate as long as the blade takes into account the kerf

    This video made me feel comfortable using. Cant wait to get back to the shop to try. I think my issue has always been not a straight edge and maybe not turning the saw on before starting. I had foam under and i felt like i was fighting to push it through. I know get my pieces of plywood cut before hand at lowes/home depot as i only feel comfortable with my mitre saw but cant wait for my table saw!!!

      That's great! Jigsaws are great and very versatile, but it's nice to have more tools that can take on different projects when you're ready for it!

    So happy I found your channel. Your nail gun video helped me purchase the right one for me. Now I'm researching circular saws. Your videos are great! Informative, easy to follow and straight to the point. Can you do a video about respirators in combination with glasses? I have such a hard time trying to see with my readers and breathe without consuming dust. Btw, your accent is adorable 😉

    Wow Anika just incredibly informative. If I owned one of these hardware businesses I would give you every tool in the store to review and keep on top of a hefty salary. You could approach them if they haven't approached you already. Your instructions couldn't be more clearly to follow. Those little details you remind viewers to look out for got me subscribed. Keep up with the great videos and seriously approach these hardware stores with your work. "Well done Anika just brilliant"

    This video and your video about miter saws was very helpful, but I still don’t know which saw to get for my needs. I am a complete beginner and don’t have a table either. I see myself using a saw to put up batten on my walls, make a raised garden bed and that sort of thing. Should I go with miter or circular? Miter feels “safer,” but obviously not portable to cut in my backyard. I’m so confused!

    • @Anikasdiylife
      @Anikasdiylife  3 роки тому +1

      I can understand the dilemma. I would recommend miter saw for a beginner. I have a comparison on my website that might help- www.anikasdiylife.com/miter-saw-vs-circular-saw/
