Hi Michael. I myself want to start my own datsun sunny truck project. So im going to watch all your videos on your datsun project for tips and advice. Thank you for this.
I started on part 4-7 or so, your video making skills are so good that I had to come to part 1 and watch the whole thing. gonna spend my last day (tomorrow) in covid isolation binging this series lol! Keep up the good work, your videos are awesome!
i got the same datsun and making plans on how to do it, and its almost as rusty as this.. and im really finding it really difficult to restore, hopefully this series will guide me, although i probably cant spend a lot of money like you do. first time doing a DIY restoration so fingers crossed
Hi Mike good job doing a restoration on the bakkie did see other videos I have a 1974 Datsun 120y still original and it's in a good condition needs a little attention here and there after seeing your video's I got hooked on doing the repairs on it I am also from sa

Hi thanks for the comment! Thats so awesome :) I'm really diving in blind with this project, but learning a lot of things on the way. Hopefully you guys can learn from my experience and mistakes! Making the most of isolation as well :)
My father has a datsun 1200 deluxe he doesn't have the time to fix it. I always liked the car and decided i will use my vacation to start restoring it. Hopefully it isn't as rusty a yours
Awesome, so glad I stumbled upon this. I have a Nissan 1400 here in SA and will be doing a lot of these things in restoring my "bakkie". And I definitely want to know how you got that engine out and on to your balcony alone!

Hey Mike, it's Sugar. New to your channel thanks to El. Keen to see how you got the engine out of the chassis and onto your balcony, by yourself
Hi Sugar!! Thanks for stopping by, I'll be moving the motor back down soon so keep an eye out! Probably episode 12! 11 is coming out soon :D

Nice! I hope you got it!! Wish you all the luck with your project!!!
How did you get the engine out of the car by yourself and on to the balcony
How did you remove the bed? Trying to get to the chassis
Painstakingly drilling out every single spot weld haha
Thanks for asking. Unfortunately I did it at a point when I wasn't filming yet!
Is that even legal?. Major repair in parking lot.
