The knife is bainite hardened, which is completely different from other knives. this one is virtually unbreakable under normal conditions. it is worth watching other tests, typically for destruction
I don't do destruction tests but if they survive on the husky farm they are doing quite well. I think the shape and thickness of the blade already would make it pretty bomb proof with normal heat treatment. I did break the sheath though. Things get very brittle in the cold and I fell quite hard onto it before being dragged for some distance by ten dogs. Distraction tests don't test for everything. At least I found the knife. I can fix the sheath. It is a really fantastic knife. Thanks for watching mate.
A lot of it is practice but I also think some people are a little more natural at it than others. There are certainly many people who make better feathers than me. Also many people more experienced than me who aren't as good . This video might actually help ua-cam.com/video/zL_oN1kZfTI/v-deo.htmlsi=QtsK90_vd7fcEn5d
Awesome !! A very famous Polish knife maker Kamil Wiechciński (KW) who has been producing high quality knives for deacades. He has his workshop/factory in Baranowo, Poland. Dożyn translates to 'Harvest festival' ! It looks like a top blade Tim bro ! The sheath looks really well made too ! That blade is 3.2mm thick and true scandi ..grind ..looks like it took a beating rather well 👍So pleased to see you reviewing this knife mate. I have one somewhere in the attic !! lol Hope all is well mate.. blessings to you and the Unni beastie !! 🐾🐾
You should find yours and do a review too or at least show it off. Something different to the fairbourn Sykes and a little less aggressive 🤣. Thanks for watching mate.
Some nice knives made in Poland, I have a couple of Za-pas knives which are both excellent, The expendable and the ultra outdoor knife. I do like the look of that knife your using, it looks solid.
It is very solid mate, I should check out some of the other Za-pas knives too one day. Lots of great small scale manufacturers in Eastern Europe. Thanks for watching
Looks quite nice and not too badly priced although he is out of stock just now, thanks Tim for that review, though for me I am less keen on the drop point.
Is that all it is, I thought it was far more expensive. Well that's a bargain in my opinion. I really should pay more attention to the prices of stuff that people send me. Thanks Lee mate. God bless you and your family too buddy.
