@08letsgotribe I too smoked for many years. Thanksgiving of 1988, I bought a pack and as I put it in my purse I said to my Lord Jesus that I would never open that pack for His glory. I carried that unopened pack for a year before I twisted it up and threw it away! Not taking another drag from a cigarette since that Thanksgiving 1988! I don’t know how He did it but He simply took away the desire that very day!! Praise the Lord! Give Him the smokes so He can take them out of your hands and life. May He bless you with freedom!! I totally get what you are trying to say. Jesus loved our Father so much he followed through with his will and taught, gave sight to the blind, healed the sick, and died for humanity. The scripture says that the Father LOVED US so much he sent His one and only son. John 5:30 Jesus said "I can of My own self do nothing.....I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father who has sent me." (this is because Jesus was in the flesh, a human and God at same time, so the Father told Him what to do. Everything Jesus did was the Fathers will, even though they are one. Sin is a very powerful thing. Probably THE most powerful thing, aside from God himself. We need God or else we will fall to sin because of how powerful it is. We cannot defeat sin without God. We need to be reconciled to him.
Facts I’ve fallen into sin and I’m now realizing I can’t stop but I’ve reconciled with him and I’ve stopped exponentially god is good always bad or good.

Sin is a very powerful thing. Probably THE most powerful thing, aside from God himself. We need God or else we will fall to sin because of how powerful it is. We cannot defeat sin without God. We need to be reconciled to him.
Facts I’ve fallen into sin and I’m now realizing I can’t stop but I’ve reconciled with him and I’ve stopped exponentially god is good always bad or good.

How many times does The Holy Spirit call Us ALL? How many times does God Almighty give us millions of chances to make right decisions? How long will We put off Putting Him 1st? Why don't We go to The Lord without Ceasing? Daily? Even just a small moment of our lives? Oh that man would Glorify the Lord! Oh that man would turn back to the Cross, that we would Humble ourselves, and Submit to God's Spirit, to be delivered from evil that lurks in the thoughts of man, we know not what tomarow brings yet we live like we have forever.. we do have forever... Somewhere! The Decision is Ours, will we follow after Christ and His Righteousness? Will We Seek His Kingdom? What fruit does our life Bear? Oh that We would Glorify Our Father that man will See and glorify God! Keep in Prayer, in your secret prayer closet, meditate on His Word Daily, ask for His knowledge and wisdom for that is the beginning of The Fear of The Lord! God Bless ALL the people of the earth! May you continue to follow Jesus and Seek Him out!

You said in the bible that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

There is a way, emerging... where science is found to be flawed; where the scientific method has failed us. People of faith, have suspected this for two thousand years. We know the way. We've been following the WAY, for as many years. And those who believe have known all along that what we see inside, demonstrates all that is of God.
Those that believe in science told us all things collide; they told us that energy was conserved, matter.. conserved, momentum... conserved. And those same people told us that matter can be neither created or destroyed; and that four forces comprise nature. AND THEY WERE WRONG.
Nothing in nature truly collides. All things in nature communicate. Energy forms freely in EVERY single atomic interaction. YOU call this LOVE. A new understanding calls it ENTANGLEMENT, and a new science calls it robust entanglement.
Come, walk with me; in light of a whole new understanding of our universe; where one principle defines all that we see and do; and where energy forms freely, in every atomic interaction; and finally, where FAITH becomes the sophistication of scientific observation. (This is where we look inside, and ask, and find.). If we are of science, anyone after the now infamous "double slit" experiment, should be aware that the observer affected the outcome. Science has died. Faith lives.
