    Head gasket leaks, and there is a stupid cap on the inside ontop of the head that just sits in there, no sealant around it. If you seal that cap, it wont leak anymore. I get your point, BUT steel also expanse as well.
    I thought my head gasket was leaking and over tightened the front nut under the manifold... SNAPPED it right off.. did it last night actually. Everything was fine, i changed the spark plug, started it up and the oil leak started. I shouldve just left it alone... now i have to wait for the new nut and stud to come in, have the shop take it a part, put a new head gasket in, seal that inner cap, put the new stud in and put it back together. Labor day weekend and i cant ride 😢. Worst feeling snapping that studn

      Não hahaha, eu estou dizendo (teoria minha) que aqueles acabamentos de motor, atrapalham na refrigeração e dilatação do motor, e pode acabar surgindo vazamentos por causa das diferentes dilatações dos diferentes materiais.

    Problema dos vazamentos está no selo que há dentro do motor. Ele diminuí, aí vaza.

    • @luizgiao652
      @luizgiao652  5 років тому +1

      Isso mesmo, o selo derrete e fica folgado. Trocando o selo, enriquecendo a mistura, porque ela vem com um acerto muito pobre, e tirando as decorações do motor, vai trabalhar mais frio, preservando as juntas e o motor, daí é só alegria nessa maquina sensacional

    • @felipesillva94
      @felipesillva94 5 років тому +1

      @@luizgiao652 vou te ensinar, existe um selo de motor MWM de 22.5, a borracha quando diminui ela vai para 22.4 , a borracha original Suzuki custa de 60 a 180,00 esse selo custa 2,50 geralmente e você nunca mais tem problemas. Em relação a resfriamento, posso ser sincero? A capa não faz diferença ter ou não ter, o motor não tem radiador, ele trabalha quente mesmo. Se houver necessidade de troca de junta a vedação tem que ser feita com silicone vermelho, acabei de pegar minha Savage e estou aprendendo sobre ela, mas já li muito e fiz testes

      @@felipesillva94 , é sempre assim, eu paguei 100 reais, é bom que se der pau de novo, ponho esse aí. A parte metálica que eu tirei ajuda a troca de calor, mas como não serve pra nada, eu tirei, e a Suzuki sempre tem umas coisas desnecessárias, como torneirinha a vácuo (uma bosta_) para ligar tem todo um ritual, chato de ficar segurando a embreagem senão não liga, enfim coisas de Suzuki. A carburação vem muito pobre. azulando o escape, isso é bom calibrar com um giclê maior que o 125, num carburador 40 tem que ser maior. Olha de resto a moto é bacana, e a correia é super dimensionada, não acaba nunca mesmo. Felicidades com sua Savage, abraço!

      @@luizgiao652 muito obrigado amigo, eu estou muito feliz mesmo apesar das dificuldades da moto com a Manutenção. Achei legal que o filtro original é bem duradouro, apesar de usado, o meu ainda está em bom estado. Não vou trocar e não achei nenhum que se adapte a ela, só se for esportivo.. achei um KeN pelo eBay, mas achei muito caro. Sobre o carburador, não devo mexer nos gicles enquanto não precisar trocar o reparo, entendo sua colocação, mas a minha já roda com excesso rsrs, eu estava pensando em colocar uma ponteira de 883. Sobre a embreagem é chato mesmo, é um sensor de click que há ali. O meu está rachado mas recuperei, mas sabe qual da ali? Da Boulevard 800, é igual. Se você quiser ligar ela sem apertar a embreagem, é só você remover aquele click dali, colocar um botão em outro ponto e resolve, ou deixa apertado direto. Não sei se daria algum problema. O meu freio traseiro nao está acendendo, reparei que são dois cabos, achei curioso, vou corrigir depois, coisa boba. Aprontando ela para vistoria. Estou louco para colocar um Sissy Bar, porém minha moto está sem as espadas.. ainda não sei como vou fazer

    Okay anybody else that sees this comment help me out if you know okay is there a freaking valve cover gasket for a 01 ls650 and secondly what in the living hell would I be hearing tapping it honestly sounds right under the valve cover gasket like maybe the decompression solenoid is being hit by something I already know my decompression solenoid is not working at all not properly but just at all but my bike still starts perfectly fine I mean cheap $70 Amazon starter I put a F-150 starter solenoid a cheap Amazon coil pack and I mean it starts up like butter occasionally I do have to put the choke on on cold days and mess with the air screw bringing it down to idle lower on cold days and after about a minute or two pick it back up but I just keep hearing this god-awful it sounds like a clack noise coming from the very top of the motor I mean absolute top so do I need to get in there with the filler gauge and see if I've got the proper clearance on my lifters or what would be the suggestion because I have already dove into the motor it's currently all back together and running and I'm currently not trying to have to take the motor back out of the bike it was an absolute pain in the ask four times over cuz I couldn't get my damn pulley off to take the belt off I had to drop the whole tire I wasn't able to slide it forward to relieve a little pressure etc etc like you should be able to and be warned hardest part is not getting the motor out of the bike it's setting that motor back inside the bike when you're doing it all by yourself LOL but don't let it deter you it can be done

    I have that same oil leak. I take it to my hose, spray it this greaser wash it off and add 2 oz oil every so often. Your idea doesn't make sense. A chrome decoration isn't a seal. There is a seal in the parts break down. I'm not convinced your idea is valid.

      Most of leaks come from a rubber plug inside the head near a rocker.
