I agree that you need to take a break from the Will it Runs and this looks perfect for a change of pace! You should call it Frank, the Frankenstein 49 F1!
As for your quick history lessons that could be Mortske’s Morsels or Motoring History! Keep ‘em coming!

LS swaps may be "popular" but a lot of us have it on our to-do list. I love seeing all the work and workarounds that have to happen to make it work.... turns out a lot of people that say how easy and overdone it is ...haven't done it themselves. Thanks as always for the great content!

The "Will it runs" are amazing, and I've actually learned a lot. But I'd love to see some of the cooler projects go down the road. Love to see your '64 Impala wagon come back
too. That thing is sick. But I enjoy whatever pops up on Mondays. Main thing is do what you enjoy.

My take on your channel: I enjoy it. Great information and entertainment. I agree that "the will it run" gets a little old and everyone does them. I enjoy that you do not do all that messed up quirky stuff ( lightning hose, fuel make it happener, crap, etc. ). I really enjoy that you do the real world stuff and you do it honestly. You do the things I just dream of. If you didn't live just this side of Canuckistan I would pop over and feed you sammiches till you couldn't walk. I think you are correct to finish up the projects, sell them and get the $$ to continue. Just continue with what you like and those who do not like it, not to comment negatively and to move somewhere else that is inline with their perceptions. There are plenty out there that will have what they are looking for. You are not a " restoring " channel. What you create are vehicles that will do what they were made to do. Run, roll and to have fun with. I just hate those that say " you should do " or " I would do " etc. Please keep up your hard work and the countless hours it takes to share it with us. I apologize for the long comment. Thank You.

It's your truck, shop, tools, labor, blood, sweat & tears, etc.... So you can do as you wish. All the naysayers can go out and get their own projects and do as they wish. Personally my mind does not work well when "mixing & matching", even if everything is from the same auto maker. I find it difficult trouble shooting so I prefer keeping everything stock. 60's 70's we called those wheels charcoal centers. Think a number of companies made them but Fenton was always popular. And Appliance Wheel. Don't know if that one is even around anymore. Mixed wheels were a common practice. Like littles up, bigs back but with wheels. Polished alloy slots up and deep dish chrome steels back was popular. Many used adapters up front to run 13" rims made for compacts. 4 lug stuffs. Made due with what was around. If you ran the adapters to get 13" you had to run skinnies up cause the adapters changed the offset. The more you know. Or today's useless info lol. Last useless info, L60 was the wide king for the rear then a tire company called Mohawk came out with an M60. I ran my first pair of M's on my 69 Firebird. Or as I called it the tirebird. Polished aluminum slots up and back. F70-13" up and M60-15" back. Well, your head will never be the same after all this. Truck is looking good. I know it's a bunch of extra work but I think when it's finished you'll like it better if you take the time to shift that rear back 2"? 3"? to better center the tires in the tubs. Also shifting them will open up more clearance at the front of the tub. Might make room for the 8"? That's like a bellybutton. We all have one.

The dirty torque thrust rim is center of its mounting surface. I think you will like the positive offset rim to go to the rear drum and axle's flange. That makes the tire 255mm tread width to be closer to the leaf spring. After the centerline American Racing rim was install and what is the measured between the leaf spring and the tire. Then we can allow the the rim to go move from centerlin to the positive offset by how many inch for mounted 255mm 75 aspect ratio. With the front tire size; could be 275mm 70 aspect ratio or 65.

I have been to Loper's I use to go to the Mesa location but since they closed that on it has been awhile since I have gone to the Phoenix location. I miss all the old speed shop we use to have around town it seems like the internet has killed them off. I use to have a old sticker like that Loper's one in my old garage. Maybe I will have to make a trip over to the Phoenix shop and see if they still have some for my shop I have now and this time put it on the tool box so if I move it will go with. Thanks for another great video you, Duff and Chin just crank out great videos.

This is January 12th here in Michigan, y'all have tons of snow, we don't have any, which is fine by me...the grey spoke American's get my vote... same wheel I put on our 30 Model A...we had a huge win this week, got the body back on our Model A, doing a 5" channel....like to send you some pics...be safe!!
    God Bless!!

One of your best! Love the “deep dive” into wheel and tire education and totally agree with you. If you get stance and wheel/tire right, you could make your Ford Taurus look amazing. That said, you MUST figure out how to get those polished rim AM Racing TT’s on that Ford. They look fantastic! Best to you and Duff.
