Beautiful Lana at 44 and cute Stefanie at 23, two kinds of American womanhood in the mid-1960's. And wonderful Edith dressing both of them. Interesting material, for sure.
@John Edwards Nuts. They weren't dated in 1964. The clothes, hair, and makeup were correct for a wealthy, sophisticated, middle-aged woman. 40+ year old women weren't expected to dress like teenage girls. What did you expect, Sonny and Cher? Flower power? 😂 Look up what Elizabeth Taylor wore in her personal life in 1964, for example. It would be a long time before middle aged women would be dressing like teenagers. The tv show "Friends" started that trend.

Interesting that Edith Head had no talent for clothes design, she bluffed her way into a studio job and learned what she needed to know a little at a time. She admits it all in her book.
