Done on Ultimate Lvl 10. The stategy was to use the Time mashup to keep attacking her without hitting her RV. Unfortunately I couldn't build groove that fast and it seems like she just ignores the Time mashup when I'm close to hit her RV. Idk if that also happens with normal mobs.

Yeah, the bosses are unique in that some attacks or states can give them immunity to the time freeze mashup, like when Leo is activating his armor or Cervus is about to do his huge AOE lightning attack that his everything
I recommend you reserve the time mashup for right when you're about to break Iris' barrier since it'll give you some leeway to get in attacks before you hit her RV. Also, don't just use your trick cards all up in one combo - use some, pause to reset the combo, and then use the rest of it in a full combo. That way you'll get more uses out of it to destroy the barrier faster before it has to reboot.
