- Another gem from the "Shotts Video Workshop" tape that was doing the rounds in Shotts a few years back. A promotional film from 1963, designed to attract business to the area. Looking around the Shotts of today it wasn't exactly a roaring success...
Part 2 - • Shotts Documentary 196...
This is a real gem - I was a fan. I used to buy all their LPs and record the band at competitions on my old reel-to-reel portable tape recorder !
Fantastic i could have watched another hour of this ,finished too early.I have a lot of friends who will love this, plus me being a bonaccord supporter well ! that was way cool seeing what it was like way back then at Hannah Park. Thanks for this and if you have anymore please show them .You are now my fav youtuber KUDOS
My grannie came from Dykehead but moved in the 1930s - her maiden name was Dillett - maybe there are some Dillets still there
That's the many times world champion Alex Duthart on drums 🥁
TheRobv435 - Unfortunately I don't have the video clip on my PC anymore (I deleted it after I uploaded it here). However, you should be able to find a UA-cam downloader and 'acquire' a copy that way.
Really fantastic find! The year I was born! What a shame the narrator has a horrible rp accent. I'd have loved a Scottish accent but in those days a Scottish accent was seen as inferior!
Pastoral beauty ? - thats stretching it a bit
great video 5/5
I stay there
Maybe were related if you go way way way back far enough
