So, I’m going through this process now so it might help others. I did my due diligence and researched overdentures and my periodontal dr said ok now start discussing your expectations with the other dr about Mt teeth. Pretty much told her money is really not a barrier and she has this bewildered look as if I’m trying to do her job. She said your getting acrylic teeth I told her uh… no I want top of the line. Again same look 👀. I asked how do we go about shaping teeth etc…she said we do impressions I said impressions don’t you do 3D she said yes but the lab she uses only accepts tray impressions. At this point I’m just upset and feel duped. I pay 28k to get teeth ripped out of my mouth, 8 implants put in with grafts, I think I should have a say in the type of overdenture I would like to have. What’s even more problematic is I spoke to several Dr’s they all said same crap. Don’t believe the dentist are doing you right ask these questions. And finally when you see signs out from that say 50% off implants walk in and say 50% off of what. It’s a scam your gonna get screwed. Well that my two cents.

Hello My favorite Lab King!! Have you ever thought making a video telling us what doctors use your lab's?? I'm sure it will be a bit overwhelming since their are so many states and so on, but I think it will answer everyone's question's! You can maybe do a bit a week and show the automized list on the screen! But in the meantime, do you think you can email me that info I asked for a month back? lol.

I am wondering how long the full contour zirconia crowns can last on teeth where they are:
1. well fitted, there is no clenching or bruxism issues
2. not too much enamel is filed down- when teeth are aligned fine or if there is just a minor misalignment (less shaving required)
3. no prior root canals - so on a living tooth
4. hygiene is mainained and a good unprocessed diet
5. no future gum recesion or even worse periodontosis. My uncle had had his teeth healthy untill mid 55 with just 3 teeth missing and some fillings on molars and premolars (he is 64 this year) but he is suffering from periodontosis now. He had to get a couple of teeth extracted, partial dentures fitted and of course other treatment.
I just wonder how zirconium oxide is protective strength and longevity wise for remaining shaven enamel when good occlusion is achieved and opposite teeth are also crown with highly polished zirconium crown without ceramic layer... I have heard only about people who have had either gold cast crowns or inlays/onlays that had had their functionality after 38-45 years of wearing them- and patients replaced them with zirconium crown options purely for aesthetics...I know people with bruxism can get night guards and even botox to prevent from further chipping, cracking, grinding.
