Yeah this Goria guy borrowed a lot from Thalberg until his debt started rivaling that of USA. Most of his pieces sound like a blank version of Thalberg. But people will hate me for this :)
Marvelous playing! Would like to hear it on my restored Alexandre Debain piano of 1855 . This shows also the nowadays unobtainable level of virtuosity of the amateur public in the old days. Since these editions were meant for them.
Wonderful playing! The guy is the composer who I admired very much a few months ago with Emile Prudent. The ending of this piece feels quite sudden for my taste, but I nevertheless love it since there seems to be many parts which recall me of Alkan's pieces in particular.
You are a fenomenal pianist!
What can I say more than you are fantastic and so talented. Beyond words. Bravo!!!
Aha, this is great! Very entertaining and lovely playing. Splendid piece of quasi Thalberg from the four minute mark too!

@@prammar1951Haha yes this is highly tracive of Thalberg's textures, but I do think there were a couple of original patterns in here.
Great to hear some Goria, who is another composer practically ignored or unknown nowadays. Hope you can find something good by Joseph Ascher sometime.
Thank you for the suggestion! Looked up a few pieces and they seem similar to the style of Goria, will certainly check him out some more ;)
Some fancy arrangement. Played very well. I wonder where that old moldy sheet music came from?
Really cool piece and brilliant playing

You're really good with those fantasias, I love it!

Thank you! It does indeed have some Alkanian textures here and there
