    @05:18 Thanks to Doc Birnbaumer for the formula: HRT 102 : SBP 111 = 0.91 (between .4 and .7 is ok) 0.9 definitely says shock.

    If we are not supposed to take abdominal xrays on patients with abdominal pain, then when shall we order them?

    Is it possible that there is a higher incidence of missed appendicitis when an X-ray is done is due to slowing of the GI peristalsis? Making it appear that constipation is present? I’ve had a couple patients, one was pretty far into their illness, the other was quite early, who both had very little to no bowel sounds prior to diagnosis of appendicitis. I will say, I’m pretty quick to order a CT when someone presents with abdominal pain. I would sure hate to miss an acute abdomen.

    My heart rate was 120, temp was 35.8C, Respiration was 20, BP was 93/65 at ED entrance.

    you start failing when u lose your paranoia in ED. its literally in our job description to think worst case scenario. best job ever bc how can you screw that up??

    Most Patients that aquire Cow Milk develope a Severe Osteoporosis Syndrome and more Chronic Bone Dysfunction I feel a Female Milk is more natural and healthy for infant Baby to digest.
