I remember when these first came out and I thought how stunning they looked. I went on to have several as company cars and in between those I hired them.
    Drove all over the UK.
Currently own a 2016 Sri 2.0 cdti Nav and its a superb car, been averaging 60 plus mpg, its ULEZ compliant and just £35 per year road tax.
Well worth going for the Nav models and the later ones can have Android Auto, Apple car play.
Mines got 18 inch wheels and I agree that although these LOOK better, the 17 inch ride better.
For some reason the 18s make the car feel 'wooden', its hard to describe.
17s on the Sri lowered suspension gives you a comfortable and surprisingly nimble car.
The Astras that were out at a similar time are great looking too.
Likewise, the Sri versions give you a VW Golf like ride with a perfect blend of body control and comfort.

@@infinitesky-59 I agree for the 18s but it looks stunnig with them. I have 17s on winter tyres and the ride is more comfortable and so is the steering. Mine is 1.6CDTI which is an engine out of this planet, hobestly :)

I would love to hear your opinion about the Insignia, I truly think it is a great car, especially the facelift :)

@@melonyt6430 Why sadly? Do you prefer driving automatic? The manual is more economical though :)
