Hi DJRENSK, you are quite correct in you point that the ball must travel 5m before it can be put into the circle. I have looked back and on most occasions it does in the video. As a training pattern we were looking at the player co-ordination rather than the letter of the law at the time. Well picked up on the odd occasion it did not. You should be an umpire if you are not already :)

Third party obstruction on baseline offensive player cutting across defender?
Surely the ball hasn't moved '5' before you put it in the 'D' for the first pass.
