- 3...2...1...EAT! The Chilli eating competition/challenge at The Upton Cheyney Chili Festival gets hotter and hotter with each round. Starting off with the humble Jalapeno to the Serrano we take it easy and then get a little hotter with habaneros and moving on to the Ghost Pepper do we go further? Does the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion and the Carolina Reaper come out...

Our nominated charity is' it's in the Bag' a Testicular cancer awareness charity. itsinthebag.org.uk/
They provide hands-on support for men with testicular cancer in the South-West of the UK, as well as raising awareness of the disease across the region and beyond.
It’s in the Bag is run by a group of testicular cancer survivors with support from specialist National Health Service staff.

Thank you guys,that was tough!!! Please to say that this is the second time I enter a chilli eating competition and I won both...Whitehall garden centre chilli festival last year and this one.Think I made my point now.Maybe next year again...:-)

Been eating chillis since I was in my mother's womb...I eat it regularly,almost with every meals.It still hurts but I just blank the pain and like the heat.You have to focus and ignore the pain when doing the competition,although my fingers and wrists tend to seize up and become very stiff ! It was my second chilli eating competition and I won it too,like last year at Whitehall garden centre in Lacock...I am hooked!
Seen Lin today, she still has the Chili seed on her head.

women usually win because their pain tolerance is much higher. I thought she'd win as well because she wasn't even sweating. Its incredible she made it that far! Part of me thinks maybe with how quickly she left that she knew it would come back out and didnt want to be seen doing that LOL

I wasn't sure how this one was going to go, but somehow knew it would be one of the ladies who would win. People dropped out at the oddest times, such as halfway through a pepper for example. Anyway it was a good show and naturally I'm looking forward to more.
She's hardcore, i'd like to see a line up of all the previous winners against each other.
