And looking at these results the Gamo phox is a strong contender for anyone who’s starting out in the pcp world. I started out with a second hand budget pcp working my way to the Weihrauch’s but with the Weihrauch’s your sometimes all to very careful when out in the field as not to knock them. But with the gamo you may not be too bothered if it gets an odd scratch or knock due to the synthetic stock.I’m sure if I was starting out again the Gamo phox kit would certainly be my choice of pcp.
Totally agree with what you said. I've got a Wei 110 and thats not too bad if you knock it but I have a daystate Wolverine and scared to take it out because its expensive and too beautiful to scratch 😜 but this Gammo is perfect and seems you can put any pellet in them 👍 well done Gammo 👏
Had one a couple of months now,, I've never put it through a chronograph but was told its about 11.4 ftlb from the shop, so yours at 10 ftlb appears a bit low,,,Mine seems to like premier Domed 10.5gr or bisley magnums. Shot 38 rats with it so far ,most around 30 yards but some double that. It sure is accurate out to 60 yards.
Shame about the service when you call them, not sure they know as much as they let on. Also they are over 10% more expensive than other places and they don't price match.
Take the screws and bolts out of the plastic figure 8 bracket between the barrel and air tank if you want a really accurate phox, that bracket tends to hold the barrel off centre meaning your pellets can be as much as an inch off target at 20 meters, you can leave the bracket in place without the screws because the filler guard stops it falling off. 35 Pigeons in two years, and it can shoot 10 pellets though the same hole at 20 meters after fixing the bracket. 😝 Fix that stupid plastic bracket GAMO.
@@paulkazjack The sister BSA rifles have no bracket and they are more or less the same as Gamo, I've had no problems leaving the bracket loose for well over a year, if the bracket locked ridged into place there would be no problem but just putting the gun down can move it out of place.

Yes he did.. The gun has a 10 shot magazine.
@@richierich4810 I’m was referring to the air cylinder as this gun is not regulated. Refill the gun = air. Reload = new pellet /new magazine

Is this Gamo Phox basically the same as the Gamo Urban? Just the Phox's power turned down for UK?
Same gun ,urban is the Europe and American name
So the Phox has the same internals as the Urban just the Phox power is turned down and anti tamper screws fitted for UK laws?

It’s an easy fix ,my phox was shooting at 11.3 foot pounds before I sold it and I found it was not pellets fussy
