Don't worry you're not the only one who thought they might be pregnant even when it wasn't possible. When I first started my period it was severely irregular and I once didn't have my period for 2 months, I thought I was pregnant for a few seconds but then straight away I realised, "of course I can't be pregnant, I haven't had sex". So yeah not alone.
When I was 17, I had cramps SO bad I thought I was going into labor 😅. But there was no way that was possible.

SAMEE. When I was a teen I hated my period extremely, so when it was late I was happy but then started getting worried after 2 months and no sign of it coming. At that point I was literally hoping for it to come because I was so concerned. I usually told my mom whenever my period started every month, so when I kept saying it didn’t come yet, she was getting increasingly worried. She scheduled a doctors appointment and before we left the house- she asked THE question if I participated in intercourse and told me to tell the truth because she’ll know the truth once we get there anyways. I was terrified (since my family never talked about the topic of boys and avoided it, so it was very straight up), me, being the young child thought “I’ve never done it before, but is it possible to get pregnant from just touching yourself?” And was stressing over whether I should tell her that part despite not sleeping with anyone before. In the end, I chose to just say no. When we got there, the doctor just casually said “oh yeah that’s normal at that age, very common.” And my mom was relieved while laughing and said “ohh! That makes sense, cause I asked her if she’s done it before- and obviously she didn’t!”
We never spoke of the incident again 😂

The part about the stretch marks answer, made me cry so hard. I don’t have stretch marks but I have self harm scars all over my body. And at 22 It’s hard to look at my own body at times. But. You helped me look at it through another lens, and for that, I’m so grateful. Thank you Amber.
