Weak to Close Range. There's a difference.
But yeah, it is annoying when they have that combo. At least Bladestorm isn't counted as a melee attack, so you can Run and Gun to them, blast them in the face and then trigger Bladestorm the next turn when they relocate.

@@serathaevistille995 Probably a coding oversight by the devs. Due to it functioning similar to Overwatch, it likely is treated as a shot rather than a melee attack.
I think the only Chosen immune to this at all times (obviously, they are immune to it if they have Shadow Step) is the Assassin, but only when she goes for her melee attack and the subsequent Bending Reed. Both of these actions do not trigger Overwatch.

"Tile is blocked" instance: usually, Justice pulls to closest tile. That tile was open air, thus "blocked".
Couldn't it still have pulled to the adjacent roof tiles on the side?
The first tier of Priests can't Mind Control, as far as I'm aware, even on Legend.
Also... Can they Sustain on Tier 1? I don't think they can...
@@garr_inc Yes, but the chance for it to proc is like 45% or something.
Even Elite tier Priests are not guaranteed. Tactical legacy pack gives you a guaranteed way to kill a Sustained Priest though, the LMG has a Stock equipped, so if a Priest goes into Sustain, you can have your Grenadier go on Overwatch. The Priest will likely move on his next turn, meaning he's dead, regardless of whether your Grenadier hits or misses.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate this: Sethroven mocked the Hunter for making a poor decision by saying he was meant to be equivalent to XCOM's commander (Seth), but isnt. Seth, determined to prove himself wrong, made an equally poor decision by forgetting about his dazed soldier. Thus, the hunter was in fact an equivalent to the commander, AKA, they both suck. xD

@@xXllGhostllXx sorry for ur loss man. Also looking up, and raising ur head up are good ways to not let them fall. Pro tip: if ur in public just sit down and rest your face in your elbow like ur trying to sleep. It’s a great way to wipe them tears homie. But yeah not crying at all? Distractions.
Pro tip: don’t hold back the tears, the more you hold the worse you will get.
I lost so many relatives and people that I am really close with that I spend each day preparing for the loss of a someone I care about and crying is the best way to get rid sad emotions

Also, the Hunter hit a full cover shot while poisoned. I don't know if the Chosen suffer from Aim penalties, but I'd like to see the RNG involved in THAT shot.
I don't know for certain if the Chosen take poison aim penalties but assuming they do, that was a -15 (I think?) Penalty against a target in full cover, with his side arm.
Full cover gives incoming shots a -40 penalty so the Hunter had a roughly -65 penalty to that shot. I don't know what his base sidearm aim is, but I'd hazard a guess that he had a roughly 25-30% chance to hit that shot. Jesus.

Late to the party, as I just got back into WOTC recently, but I love your videos. Especially the top notch editing to give everything a good flow. I do think they tweaked the difficulty as the few times I tried legendary in the past (console only) I gave up very early. This time around things seem easier. Not easy, but not as difficult.
Seeing your upload made me start a new game and I’ve managed to avoid a death and made it to plasma and power armor

As for why you couldn't Justice that one Stun Lancer: It's because justice needs a square to put the lancer in after you pull it which is still in melee reach of the Skirmisher in the same direction that the pull was targeted. Essentially since you grappled to the edge of the roof and didn't move it couldn't pull it towards you since that would just make it fall and thus your melee would hit nothing. In order for Justice to work there must be an open tile in one of the 3 spaces in front of the skirmisher on the same plane as the skirmisher.

Curious of some of your choices. Back when I played unmodded...I started on the PS4 (don't judge me)...I always gave my rangers the ability to remain stealthed first so I could use them as scouts when my reaper was out.

I have a guess as to why justice didn’t work there. I think it wanted to pull the trooper into a “front tile” and seeing as those tiles were open air it said “tile blocked”, just a guess though.

IIRC basic Tier 1 Priests don't have sustain, that comes in with Tier 2 and 3 Priests!
