I grew up listening to this my whole life. Didn't realize how intense the segregation in South Africa was. Wow. White from Blacks, the choir, congregation and even among the young boys. We bless God for growth and realization.
I used to sit and watch this movie as a young boy. This was my favorite part. I loved singing in choir as a child, and that passion only continued thanks to experiences like this. I am currently finishing my doctorate degree in voice and plan to teach and perform for a living. I realize now how important a role experiences like this plaid in my life.

This is my favorite song rendition of the prayer of Saint Francis! Knowing that it is an integrated boy choir from South Africa only adds to the beauty. Simply beautiful!! I would listen to this song when I worked in Belfast, Northern Ireland before the ceasefire and pray for peace.
