I grew up listening too and loving Olivia. She was a beautiful lady both inside and out and was totally oblivious to how special she was. She was flawless in every way. She indeed had a loving heart; (I may of told this story prior), My roommate and I were on our way back to the Base from downtown (Syracuse) on our bikes. As such, we used the service road to the back gate. That aside, we came across a Limo on the side of the road (near the rear entrance to said gate - often folks coming out of the airport would turn on this service road). It was raining hard. The Limo had a flat. We were able to change it, inside the Limo was Olivia. She gave us two front-roll tickets to her concert the upcoming weekend. So amazing she was, and always will be in my heart.
That's what love is.... a gift from our God of love... and Olivia had lived her life with that love very much alive in her soul.... a gift that she so generously shared with everyone through her songs, works and way of life. Soar in heavenly love and joy, Olivia.🥰💖💝
This song really touches me because it makes me think of my sweet Aunt Sylvia who passed away from Breast Cancer and her daughter Donna who was my cousin too.

I really like this version of Love is a Gift as a solo performance because I have to admit that I found the duet of the same song between Olivia and Anthony Warlow rather perplexing..yes, their beautiful voices blended but the chemistry wasn't there (or is that my imagination?)..Anthony was rather over self confident, singing his heart away and not looking at Olivia when it mattered where the matter of heart was... just my opinion... I just love this version of Olivia singing this song herself because she really does pour her heart and soul into this song
