There was actually a SLIGHT chance to win, though incredibly slim! School-Teacher into Bless on the Jailer, trade spell into Rust-Scorpid, Scorpid into 1-Mana silence, into lethal! Even though the chance of that happening is so low, it’s worth a go! We’ve seen crazier happen!
@@owlson2527 If I was actually playing and not intensely searching for improvements on what you had suggested, I definitely would not have found it. I would literally have never even figured out the bless out in-time, so very good on you to see that.
I am loving these videos lately where you describe the deckbuilding idea, concept, and process of thought into how you decided what cards go into the deck. Thank you so much for this Brian.
I enjoy the occasional vid of "This didn't really work but it was fun". Even when stuff doesn't work, you have an interesting take and do a good job explaining why.
21:41 slight misplay? If you traded after playing Xyrella then you have a chance of hitting the Purified Shard directly in addition to the chance of hitting thrive, roughly doubling your odds.
I wouldn't call it a slight misplay. It was actually a huge misplay that significantly decreased his chances to win. Given the opponent's next turn, it probably cut his chances of winning in half.
I've seen a version of Quest Priest with Kazakusan recently. It was really interesting to see that. But I like your version with the Xyrella hero card.
One of the things that's really rough with Quest Priest is it's the only quest reward that you can't play the turn you get it, so it's often easy mutantus food.
I really love the priest class and I love quest priest but this deck really seems out of place right now. Especially with the indirect nerf via importer. Also with palm, renew and Soul mirror rotating. I was sure priest would get either a really good value card or a good removal card this expansion. Whirlpool definitely does not count lol.
I tried Reno priest right after the release but on my f2p account and felt i was missing enough good cards to make it work.I think i went 1-1 or 1-2 and didn't feel good enough so i stopped playing it.
I feel like quest priest is the only deck that can beat everything in this meta, It has the sustain to survive quest hunter and aggro DH but also the quest beats control decks. I only lose to perfect solitaire when decks literally draw the perfect first 10 cards of their deck. Holy fuck is it tilting when warriors play canoneer on turn 3 and 4 and chunk you for 8 damage everytime they attack.
Love your videos but can you pleas show these slow decks vs decks like DH or mech mage instead of slower decks that quest mage is decent at vsing. I would really like to see how you get around those two decks.
Reno quest priest was one of the first decks I tried this expansion and while I really enjoyed it and it wasn’t too bad…there really just isn’t enough right now to justify giving up duplicates on your control cards. Really looking forward to seeing what the rest of the year has in store for it though
with how popular celestial is this seems like a gamble, almost as bad as finding a quest hunter while playing curse warlock (you complete the quest for them and give them fuel for their HP resets)
I find it is unnecessary to play multiple drops above 4. With the return of wild pyro, clerk, and AoP I draw my full deck by turn 9 or close to it. I think people are still mentally caught up in a way of thinking and playing this deck wrong. Try this really 2x Desperate Prayer 2x Gift of Naru 2x Northshire Cleric 1x Seek Guidance 2x Shadow Word Devour 2x Shard of the Naaru 2x Condemn 2x Thrive in the Shadows 2x Wild Pyro 2x Acolyte of Pain 2x Switcheroo 2x Lightmaw 2x Shadow Word Ruin 1x Xyrella 1x Spirit Guide 1x Mi’da or Lightshower 1x Baron or Mutanus 1x Xyrella the Devout
Play to your outs. Lightbomb -> Hero Power one of your minions -> School Teacher -> Nagaling -> Bless

Actually I don’t think you need the silence, 3-mana lightbomb+ hero power with the bless from the school teacher guy uses exactly 10 mana and wins
@@j.d.kurtzman7333 Aha! A lethal that even I couldn’t have seen, good findings!
I was honestly thinking about this exact type of interaction as a lethal out if lucky enough to get bliss

Great intro! The "how it works" is really good.
love the explanation at the beginning, very clear, precise and good to hear why you make choices etc thankyou
Don’t do that..
Don’t give me hope

try this if you are not in legend
Fun to see Olivia make a cameo
I haven’t watched kibler in awhile , what happened to Natalie and who’s Olivia?
Blizzard should just PAY Outkast just to play the chorus of "Ms Jackson" when you drop a Reno on the board.
I'm sorry miss Jackson, i like to heaaaaaaal
@@kroekman6 I've got Reno Jackson [I'm 'bout to heeeeeal]
22:42 wasn't lightbomb into school teacher a possible lethal ?
It was
I've seen a version of Quest Priest with Kazakusan recently. It was really interesting to see that. But I like your version with the Xyrella hero card.
The Deck Code in the description is the an earlier version of the deck in the video I believe , might need to update it
If there's any footage of the Reno version I hope there's footage of a super-board-clear of Reno at low health into Xyrella for an up to 29 point AOE.
One of the things that's really rough with Quest Priest is it's the only quest reward that you can't play the turn you get it, so it's often easy mutantus food.
Would it be worth swapping plated beetle for an explosive sheep to help with the early game clears?
I think he answers that in the intro when he says you need proactive things to do, so a 2/2/3 is much better than 2/1/1 that controls the board
In the last game, Lightbomb to clear the Xerella, and Schoolteacher into 2 damage of burn is lethal
So in the video, he says reno is just not worth playing for consistency but the deck code he provides in the description is a reno version?
Kibler finally into meme decks. Ausm
Miralo a duraznito viviendo la buena vida!
Would you try rebuilding dragon priest post kazak changes? Ty for the content kibler, take care!

You should play a minimum of ten games with a deck, if not more. One or two games is too small of a sample size.
How do you get golden neutral legendary core cards?
i havent watch kibler for years cuz i lost interest in heartstone long ago, and now hes slowly looks like a clean Geralt

is mi'da good in this deck?
Reno is also the only highlander card so.........that alone makes it meh for now.

2x Desperate Prayer
2x Gift of Naru
2x Northshire Cleric
1x Seek Guidance
2x Shadow Word Devour
2x Shard of the Naaru
2x Condemn
2x Thrive in the Shadows

2x Shadow Word Ruin
1x Xyrella

1x Baron or Mutanus
1x Xyrella the Devout
its good for climbing to diamond? wanna craft that deck with dust. i do not really like the meta decks.
Can u share a code please, that seems to be a really good strategy indeed
So... the deck always wins? :)
OK, so they make the quest-line for priest this horrible and inconsistent and enabling this type of mirror
is Kibrler still with Natalie
Game of roping.
Do not even try. Not enough removal/temp to face DHs, Mech mages and so on...
Obligatory comment for the algorithm.
Legends of Runeterra.
Bye.
I hate quest priest. I use Kibler's decks to beat quest priest. Why have you gone to the darkside?!
