The first 6 weeks are definitely the most challenging but eventually they fall into a natural pattern. With my first it took 4 months for me to become fully confident enough to say ‘I got this!!’
I’m now 9 weeks postpartum myself with Bub #2 and the adjustment is so much quicker the 2nd time around. Take all the help you can. It’s so important for your physical and mental health. All the best. Baby Riley is so adorable 💖

Riley, do you see how much your parents love you and love having you in their lives? That doesn't ever end. You may make their lives a living hell some day, and I pray that never happens, but in your very worst times they will love you this same amount even if you don't see it, or feel it. Appreciate and respect them, they are one of the greatest gifts you have been given.

Melissa, when baby is sleeping it's your time for rest/sleep/self-care. Both of your lives as you knew it has changed forever and you won't be able to imagine life without Riley. Awwww Riley is soooo precious!!!in our culture in the old days women would go a few months before the delivery date and give birth where ever the pregnant persons family lives . There her family would take care of her for 40 days .
