The coconut water taste depends on a lot of things. U guys probably didn't get lucky. But u can only know if the taste is good when u drink it, it's impossible to know before, so sometimes people get bad taste coconut water. I live in Brazil and love to drink coconut water! Specially in summer, because it's very hydrating and if u get a good coconut water it'll be very sweet and cold... There's is some coconut water in boxes, just like juice, I don't know if it is sold in Korea, but I don't like it, it's not the same taste. Please don't give up on real coconut water! hehe love u guys!

You should have ordered young coconut, they are sweeter. The younger they are the water is sweeter but the mature it gets the sweetness seeps in the coconut skin. You should have eaten the skin of you coconut, it would have been sweet ;)
Actually the younger coconut water is less sweet than the older one but the pulp is soft and sweeter
If you want to drink just a water you should get an older coconut
Major coconut lover here. I won't buy a coconut unless someone can cut it open for me to eat after I drink the water. It's such a waste.

Real coconut water is a little bitter, but I can see that the coconuts that you tried are too green, it actually taste waaay better when they are a little more brown mix with green.

as a person who has drank coconut water a whole bunch of times and lives in a tropical country I've gotta say, it isn't the best thing in the world, it has a weird dirt taste to it (kind of) but it's suuuper good for hydration!!!!

Maybe you guys should go for fragrant coconut instead of the normal coconut, because it tastes more sweeter than the normal ones. Whenever my family and I in Thailand, drinking fragrant coconut is a must for us 💖💖💖
