Honestly I love the new songs because they fit Sozos voice so well, plus the Rhapsody vibes they give, but I still prefer Winkler's voice for the older albums, it just feels like they were created specifically for him. Still, I love the new direction they're going for and I got my pre-order ready👌👌

I think that's just how it goes when a new singer sings the songs the old singer did. It just sounds off because we're used to hearing it a certain way. Same happened when Dio would sing the Black Sabbath songs that Ozzy sang.

No suena mal, pero sea por costumbre o por que estaban hechas para Thomas, sinceramente prefiero la voz mas desgarrada de Thomas, este es mas IAAAAAA, Thomas no era tan suave como el actual y se nota. De momento me quedo con Thomas. Quizas me pase como con Arch Enemy, que me encantaba Angela y ahora con los nuevos discos disfruto casi o mas con Alissa.

The new songs that have been released since Sozos joined all seem really solid, but I don't think he manages so well with these older ones. He has a very good voice and he can hit the high notes more cleanly than Thomas could, but the tradeoff to that is he doesn't have as much power, and he definitely lacks stage presence if this show is anything to go by. But it's still Gloryhammer and it's still awesome.
It seems he trained to give his voice some force, you can hear that in parts of the last song. It´s still pretty soft xD, but maybe he´s on his way to surprise in the long run. Thomas´ stage presence is not fair to compare imo, I never saw smth similar...

You miss Thomas's voice. Angus is a character and it has been impersonated by Thomas and Sozos (and even another guy for the first demos). It's totaly acceptable that you miss Thomas voice, but he is not the only Angus's voice (the band members themselves asked not to make that confusion)
He did come back one better. That said, Sozos Michael isn't a good Angus McFife or Angus XIII, but he does make for an excellent Angus II. I think we can only hope that Christopher Bowes and Thomas Winkler can bury the Hatchet between one another, so as to have Gloryhammer and Angus Mcsix tour together. I really like Thomas' rougher singing style which I prefer. Sozos has a softer tone. But still does the job well.
