I read the The Women this month for a book club I'm in as well. Historical fiction isn't a genre I normally read, but I want to get into it more now. It was my first Kristin Hannah, I gave it 5 ⭐ also. Since finishing it, I have now bought The Nightingale & The Great Alone.
Can't tell whether I like the animated intro's or this teaser intro more haha. Hope you had a good thanksgiving filled with nothing buy joy and love with family. Im currently 150 pages into "The Woman" and so far so good
I love your book reviews! I honestly feel that short books should count, too. You're the one that said we should be reading for pleasure, not numbers, so girl, count them. The last book I just finished was, In a Holidaze, by Christina Lauren. Now I'm onto my next snowy Christmas read. 😊 I'm very sorry for your loss.
I just finished “Corrupt” by Penelope Douglas and that was my favorite book for November….I’m excited to read some books from Lucinda Berry. If she’s good at writing dark books, I’m SO here for it 🙂
I'm just finishing up my 13th book of the month with is My December Darling by Lauren Asher. Romance and lego building... adorable. My top book was The Good Part by Sophie Cousens. It is about a 20 year old that makes a wish you skip to the good part of her life and magically transports her to her 40s. She then needs to decide if she wants to stay there but not have the memories to go along with the past 15 years. Or if she should time hop back and live her life knowing it will get so much better. I gave it 4☆. My entire November wrapup can be found over on my UA-cam page. :)
Here's what I read Icebreaker by hannah grace The extraordinary life of an ordinary man by paul Newman memoir Long after we are gone by terah shelton Harris The Graham effect by elle Kennedy Love holly by Emily stone Bring me your midnight by Rachel Griffin The Christmas swap by Maggie knox Twisted love by ana Huang My favorite reads were Long after we are gone by terah shelton Harris Twisted love by ana Huang Love holly by Emily stone
If you enjoyed Saving Noah, you should check out Notes on an Execution! Told from the perspective of an inmate on death row and three women in his life. Very beautiful but complex story that challenges you to question the morality of the death penalty
The Women is fabulous! Hannah is an amazing writer. I read and liked A Bit Much. I am a passionate poetry writer and reader. Putting together 3 collections of poems was a wonderful experience. Mc Fadden has to go. I just cannot take her books.
Love hearing about unknown authors and books that aren’t frequently mentioned. Thanks so much. Definitely going to try that one.
Best November read for me was Bright Side. Thank you for showing me this book! Loved it! ❤

I am reading the Under the Mistletoe collection too, the Ali Hazelwood one is probably the best one

I have read 1 Lucinda Berry and probably will never read another book by her.
