There's a few things wrong though, Spain obviously, but also Italy and Slovakia. Italy in 1943 became the German Puppet State, The Italian Social Republic with a different flag, and Slovakia was an autonomous Satellite State of Germany (Similar to Warsaw Pact Nations during the Cold War) and had their own flag.
Before becoming a puppet state, Italy (or at least half of it) was invaded and briefly annexed by Germany (during Operation Achse/Alarich). That's likely why they choose to just use the german flag (like with France).
The thing about Poland after German invasion is, it was a Reichskommissariat called "Generalgouvernement", while the Soviets only annexed the Polish lands into Byelorussian and Ukrainian SSRs

Not sure if anyone has already mentioned the mistake with the flag of Georgia, but their current flag with the red crosses on the white background was not adopted until 2004 and before that their flag was predominantly red with white and black rectangles in the upper left portion of the flag. Serbia & Montenegro stayed as Yugoslavia until 2003 when it changed its name to Serbia & Montenegro until their split in 2006.
It's a great video, but I think what it's missing is some countries coming into and out of existence. There are many nations or even occupational states that had some interesting and unique flags that simply doesn't exist anymore or existed for a really short time. Just take Germany splitting into two or Italy being occupied while also having a pro allied side existing at the same time.
