    - Key Verse: Mark 10:45 - “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
    Verses Referenced: Acts 1:8, 1st Timothy 2:1-2, Joshua 6-11, 1st Kings 17:1-24, Proverbs 3:5-6, 1st John 1:5, James 1:16-17, Hebrews 4:14-16, 1st Peter 5:7
    Questions for Reflection and Discussion:
    1. Jesus was always teaching His disciples how to trust and follow Him, they
always had opportunity to learn. What are you currently being taught by Jesus in your own life?
    2. Do you value learning all that you can from and about the Lord? Or are you
content with just knowing what you know, and not learning any more?
    3. The friends of the deaf man bringing him to Jesus is a picture of intercession and advocating for others before the Lord. Do you regularly bring people before Jesus in prayer?
    4. How important is prayer to your relationship with the Lord? Do you see it is as essential and needed or disposable and only needed at times?
    5. The people cried that Jesus “does all things well.” What helps your trust in the goodness of God, and the truth that He does all things well?
    6. How can you share the truth of God doing all things well with someone around you as a witness to God’s goodness?
This week, re-read Mark 7:31-37 and pray through the truths you find while reading.
Find someone to discuss these verses with, and share the word with someone you don’t know as well.
