I just have to say, this choir did a great job they sang alot of songs just during the procession let alone the rest of the service! under the direction of the great Dr Mattie Moss Clark!
If I'm not mistaken 90% of the Bishops that you see on here are dead also isn't it amazing how we looking inside a casket at someone gone sometimes not many days later they are in there as well life is really short
On the Handley casket and the Citerdel, The inner lids have locking latches which they failed to lock here. This casket is a full Bronze and is actually a vault and casket within one almost. Once the glass partion is sealed, the inner lids locked and the outer lid is sealed, THATS it for many years to come. Some come with a 50 year guarantee.
William Alderman, how do they check out the wear and tear (if you will) effect on the casket/vault? Are they entombed instead of buried? I find this subject to be fascinating.
Oh yes Lawd rev james moore is a storm all by him self he is missed so much also legend can preach pray and sing he was there all the time blesses my soul every time I hear it and there's not a friend like the lonely jesus.
Our organist at our church played this James Cleveland at my aunts funeral during the viewing he had a pipe organ but he could make that thing talk.My aunt was the former First Lady. Church was packed July 23, 1989 I was 13yo.

What a way to close the casket. Far more meaningful than that played out “I Shall Wear a Crown!”
Watch Aretha Franklin’s casket closing. Better than “I shall wear a Crown” too!
