The Leech Lore Pre/Post UFC 279 (Short summary): They cancelled the press conference, so all the money he spent on his suit to show off at the press conference went to waste. The next day D Rod (his opponent) comes in and weighs 10lbs heavier in the weigh ins and then the day after that despite being outweighed, the Leech beats him and gets robbed of a win, then fast forward till his next fight he suffers a bad spine injury during training camp and has been out for almost 2 years. The Leech can’t catch a break man.

what happened was, Leech suppose to show at press conference. but at the same conference there were also Khamzat, Diaz and Kevin Holland. Khamzat came with 35 people and Diaz came around with 50-55 people they started to brawl and also Khamzat who was gonna fight with Kevin at that weekend also wanted to start a fight with Kevin Holland at the backstage. all these fights were happening right before the beginning of the press conference so Dana White cancelled the press conference and Leech never had the chance to show his dress
Don't forget khamzat was professional enough to make the weight he agreed to make.
I even DM'd him after he got robbed and told him "You won that fight! Much respect mate and good luck in the future!" he replied saying "Thx a lot!" haha.
And he still haven’t open your dms and he will never open it, who do you think you are, you are nobody why do you think his gonna even respond to your dms

@@darrenmckee7175 Leech got all dressed up with nowhere to go, the press conference was cancelled cause of Khamzat/Diaz/Holland fighting backstage. Then to top it off, Khamzat misses weight, all the fights are rearranged and Leech is the man left fighting a dude 10 pounds heavier than him. Leech literally saved the card then didn't even get to wear his fancy new suit.
Seems like a good man.
I pray he comes back healthy & gets everything hes worked for.
I'm a huge fan of the leech, I was just thinking about him the other day and realized that he's been injured for the almost 2 years and there's no update on his situation. I really hope to see him fight again

The press conference then went on to be canceled so he never got to show it off. We also haven't seen him after he was robbed in a fight where he beat someone who weighed in 10lbs overweight since he suffered a spine injury that he needed surgury for.
