As a Canadian and a huge traveller, I can for certain tell you, housing and rising grocery costs are not unique to the USA. The pandemic caused world inflation. Let's not blame one president or one Prime Minister. It has happened and it has happened to our world. I have no faith in Trump, to many lies and past broken promises. But Harris seems to have a handle on things and I feel she has the best chances in calming inflation and bringing some peace & unity to your beautiful country.

It's interesting that news media has done such a poor job explaining the state of our economy as it relates to the effects of the pandemic. And how the current administration used fiscal stimulus to limit a larger economic failure. Those decisions, along with severe global supply chain disruptions did cause inflationary pressures - all expected and explainable.
As this economic cycle adjusts for more normalized commerce, we are now seeing inflation reductions and will see moderations in costs. Blaming the current administration for these inflationary times, ignores the actions that kept us from a much larger and painful economic disaster. Yes, it's been tough, but we have the strongest economy in the world, and it could and would have been much worse under a second Trump term. Autocrats can't govern through a crisis, as Trump proved.
Instead of ranting and rambling "economy, economy, economy", it is the news media's obligation to add context to the concerns of our communities.
