Without doubt, the GOAT. I am always a bit depressed if he gets knocked out of tournaments early and lose interest in the rest of it. He is absolutely fantastic when he's in the zone and potting just about everything and I hate it when he isn't. Outstanding professional and he knows that he is the best, but is very self depreciating a lot of the time. Top man.

I consider myself fortunate to have been lucky enough to watch Ronnie from the very beginning until the present day, I knew 30 years ago he was going to be a force in the game, I just didn't realise what a force he would turn out to be. Incredible snooker player, surpassed only by him being an incredible person.

@@RobMooreDisruptors Have never met Ronnie Rob, I am hoping my comment didn't imply I know Ronnie. I played a lot of snooker back in the day, I knew some of the top players around leeds, still do. I followed snooker keenly back then and I had noticed the real talent didn't seem to climb up the rankings in a 'gradual, prolonged' manner, they actually seemed to come out of nowhere, race up the rankings overnight, metaphorically speaking.
Ronnie was one of those players, combined with a flamboyant style, lots of 'presence' around the table.
Over the years I've watched his style change so many times, in different ways, amazing really, remarkable to have that built in longevity, unheard of in most sports to be the man to be beat in 30 years.
Difficult to argue with anything O'Sullivan says, he's always been honourable, whether we choose to agree with him or not.
My admiration and respect for this true modern day legend has reached all new levels !! The small segment about money, and Ronnie acknowledging others struggling….

What a great interview. I enjoyed every minute. Great questions, honest answers. A perfect interview. I take my hat off to you Rob. Thank you for sharing. Ronnie mentioned he's not sure what to do when he retires. As he mentioned he doesn't play anymore for the money as he is lucky to be financially ok. I really think Ronnie would make the perfect coach for a snooker academy in the uk. Ronnie could help potential future Jimmy Whites, Alex Higgins and Ronnies. Ronnie would be a great ambassador for the uk. Kids that wanted to learn snooker but parents haven’t the money would definitely benefit with an academy. Ronnie would get such a reward helping these youngsters. Maybe even getting snooker players involved and playing at his academy on special occasions too or even doing a regular tv programme for youngsters learning the game. If I could go back in time I would of perfected a career as a pianist. I didn't have the money in the 80's or 90s to pay for piano lessons even though my music teacher gave me some free lessons and told me I have to keep playing because I had a gift. Im now learning again thanks to free lessons on UA-cam aged 50 but career wise I'm too late now. I wouldn't want a future amazing snooker player to go by without nurturing their talent because their parents or themselves can't afford snooker coaching or lessons. Also more snooker clubs are now closing in the uk instead of opening up! Best wishes to Ronnie anyway. I know Ronnie doesn't read on UA-cam or post on social media like he said but if you have read this Rob, thanks again for sharing your great interview with great questions. If you see Ronnie again tell him from me he does deserve a pat on his back and he will be remembered for being a great snooker player, also for being a great ambassador for mental health, and being a great family man too. Ronnie is a pure legend. Deeply gifted. He doesn't seem to see it as a gift - but it 100% is a gift.
Very few properly gifted players - Davis, Hendry, both Higgins, White, Trump - Ronnie is the cream of that crop.
Met Ronnie once - he held my phone while taking a selfie. Glad to report there was no shake while the arm was extended! 🙂

Never understand why people say that Ronnie is flawed. He's just a bloke that can play snooker phenomenally. That all that matters really.
It's his queef that I'm interested in.
I mean, maybe it's the bizarre and erratic behaviour, strongly signalling MH issues, that prompts people to use 'flawed'? Not a phrase I'd use myself.
Without the talent he'd just be a TWAT but oh no, with that talent we will label him as a genius or better still, a tormented genius. We always need to legitimise misbehaviour when it's from someone we all enjoy watching on screen don't we?

When a genius talks, it's hard to understand where he's coming from on certain topics but this was a huge insight into the personality of ROS. Great interview 👏 (again).

The conversations between O'Sullivan and Hendry are more revealing. The respect they have for each other is so obvious. However this was a great interview nonetheless.

I like the guy ,,he shares similar views to me ,,i have zero patience either i refuse to cue up for stuff,,difference is hes class at snooker and i can hardly hold a cue
Great player is Ronnie, one of the best ever, but for me personally my favourite player will always be Alex Higgins, he was the most exciting player as a spectator/fan
He said his biggest worry was constantly thinking he wasn’t good enough as a player and his lack of confidence yet earlier he said he knew he was going to win and knew even before the match started, and like a cat playing with a mouse, he played around with players knowing the end result. Which is it? Stressing over not being good enough or cocky knowing before hand that he would win?
I don't underrate him, I know how to rate and where to rate him, and I completely understand him. Having an everyday brain isn't good enough to know what people like Ronnie are trying to talk about and say, you need real deep and natural understanding.
What challenges do you think this give Ronnie that others don't have?
Ronnie is a legend I love his enthusiasm for other sports aswell especially formula 1 which is my sport and has been for 23 years
I feel like had he chosen formula 1 or tennis, darts, football, or athletics I still believe he would be as talented at them as what he is at snooker 🎱
Biggest regret was choosing snooker? Really......Preferred F1? Yeah may have been hopeless at that and we would never have heard of him.

snooker wouldnt be where its at if it wasnt for ronnie.if snooker was as popular as golf then he would be a superstar. saying that hes a millionaire and idloised by us snooker fans. its his personality and flaws that i like most, his book (run) helped me got into running, for the mental side rather than the6 physical benefits. hes just a normal bloke who was born to play snooker

Great players like us will always exist and we’ve transformed snooker and most likely are even bigger than the sport. Being in the limelight as a professional impacts you greater than an ordinary individual not within the sports field, we have so much expectations from fans it’s tough to stay on top

Obviously the interviewer has written pre-prepared questions - but Ronnie does not have any pre-prepared answers so he can drop other types of knowledge when the interviewer asks him about non-snooker related stuff.

He isn’t clueless he gave snooker a platform otherwise it would have dissipated as a sport . He’s just a player that worked his way to get to the top with hard work and tenacity something you could learn from. Going to collect your UC payments monthly isn’t tenacious.

Ronnie's a genius the way Paul Gascoigne was a genius: a brain with exceptional perception of physical space and see the ability to manipulate the ball to his sporting advantage: call it high spatial and kinesthetic intelligence if you want to get fancy
