I have a few pairs of the explorers. Two are the green ones in the video and the other ones a dark browm leather. The leather ones is my favorite pair of boots i own. I will say that they had to send me a replacement pair for the green ones since the sole was separating pretty badly within the span of 6 months. They have a kick ass service team and sent me a replacement with no questions asked. They didn't even make me send them the old ones. The brown leather ones have held up really well, though. I highly recommend this company.

@@bradclarke9099 It’s pretty much I tie. My presidents are dark brown. My captains are neutral and my dukes are tan suede. I’m pretty much covered for any outfit and wear them all about equally. The captains may have a slight edge for versatility.

I got the loggers a year ago and walked a hole in the heel of the boot already. The captains lasted me 6 years, I swam in them, hiked, wiped out on a motorcycle in them, whent mudding in them.
I eventually walked a hole in the sole.

If you haven't gotten rid of them you should send them for repair, should be cheaper than buying new shoes and you'll also have your boots back to top shape

I just got the stompers in black, they are breaking in nicely but the zipper is very disappointing to me. I had it break on the first wear and they sent me replacements. Its still hard to zip up the boots but I love the look.

I have 3 pairs of Thursday’s. They were my intro to gywed boots. My first pair was the captains in black chrome, like everyone’s first boot, 2nd was a pair of Arizona Adobe captains which I ended up swapping for the shadow grey suede Cavs after a few months, and my last pair was the Loggers in cacao. I bought all my boots last year. This year, I’ve been all about my Grant Stone’s. So much so I ended up with 5 pairs of GS’s and there no boot better than the 2 Diesel’s I have and the 3 pairs of Ottawa’s that I have. 100% chef kiss 😘 the best boots under $700.

As a boot enthusiast I will never buy a pair of Thursdays. The lasts are ALL too point and euro looking. The quality is over hyped, the styles/patterns are also not impressive, etc

For cheap boots, I’m sure the Rhodes are every bit as good and probably better, plus you don’t look like 90% of the hipsters and they cost less (not hard to find them on sale or clearance on eBay). The AE boots are also easily as good if not better and can be found on sale constantly. I have like six pairs, from cap toe to wing tip to dress versions that I wear with suits and look like dress shoes. Sad that so many boot channels just echo chamber each other.
