Dont you need to grease up these parts before installing, I guess not cos you dont want any getting on the pulley/belt but i was gonna simply wipe grease onto these parts using a cloth so they have a thin film of grease, not enough to find its way to the belt?
I have a Tao Tao 50 it has two shocks in the back.I have experienced A high schilling noise from my scooter .What is that.I also was coming home awhile ago and my scooter would start to slow down and I would wait and go along with it and even stop.Then I would give it a chance and start going again and it would go and then start loosening power again and I would have to start.I would love some great advise from you my friend
Nice vid. Question, u say that you installed the new (white) spring for extra performance, but what does it do apart from increasing the force needed for the belt to move lower onto the clutch side. Are you allong with this spring also installing a big bore kit?
Have you ever come across a variator that does not engage all of the way? I have a hard black line (Made up of belt material) about 1/4 of an inch in from the outer edge. I haven't worked on a variator before but this line makes me thing that the belt isn't making it all the way out to the edge of the variator plate. Any recommendations?

That aluminum drive face with the casted in fan blades, is there one like that available for the qmb139? Id like to replace my plastic disc fan and steel drive face with an integrated style like yours, i dont feel the little plastic fan moves much air across the belt and clutch, ive looked and dont see this application for the qmb139 anywhere..

Hello Rolling Wrench, I just replaced my battery adjusted the valves and gas lines and air intake valves scooters runs but I am now hearing a ping in my clutch. What could be causing that or should I just get a new clutch? I'm on a fixed income and money is tight so Any ideas? Please help I am MREVERYTHING727
i just got my scooter out the shop the carb was loose on the inside . but now my drive belt stopped working. it wont turn the wheel no more. when i try to accelerate it just makes a squelling nois and doesnt turn the back wheel my belts not broke. its old though. is it the belt or the things that spin the belt?
Pst - I have been really curious to this. If somehow, someway, is it possible to somehow put to much impact onto the variator? Causing damage, Maybe internal. Just a fear I have sometimes..

I need the plastic piece that sits directly behind the variator and over the flywheel, would you happen to know what this part is called or where i can get it? my stater engages the flywheel but wheel not engage the shaft do to this part just freely spinning

Can anyone tell me where to buy a cheaper Starter Clutch i have the 250cc Yamaha clone engine. i have put 3 clutches in they last about 10 minutes and fly apart i buy from the same company about $50 a pop any Advice? the teeth on there clutch look a little different but not much. Would this cause this?

You will need to use a impact gun and when you install the nut you will need a special tool designed to hold the variator in place while torquing

Its really hard to say through the computer. for starters check your coil be sure its not arcing onto the frame.

When you are at the point where you want to enchance your scooter's performance, how do you know the new engine parts will actually fit?
Is this the same with all scooter types? What is the overall performance increase? And what site would you recommend for ordering these parts?

is it important to use a thick belt on a 3kj engine a lighter belt makes it run faster

stop derestricting your bikes. you'll just fuck up the belt
