My two sliding rheostat led's don't work. My mechanic friend told me to replace the control but I'm too cheap to do that. I installed a Sony radio with andriod auto and navigation is way too bright at night. There's no Ilumination (orange) wire on the trucks radio harness. What did you do with your Pioneer? Thank you for the video.
was there a reason u left off the blue blub covers? seen some vids here that say its good to put those back on. was a good helpful vid not a bunch of yacking about nothing like so many others thanks got to do this on my 03 not sure of pol. on bulbs yet waiting on them now
Bad info...your polarity was completely wrong. Followed your marks and had to reverse 5 of the 8 LEDs to the opposite of what you showed. Word of wisdom to anyone watching, do NOT follow his polarity info!!!!
Mine is a 2005, and I ended up watching another video which showed completely different polarity and that was perfect. Could be a year thing, who knows.
Thank you for posting this, showing positive posts.
Thanks so much for showing the negatives and positives.

Whats the pos side top or bottom for the 3 ligts on the bottom??
So if I don’t really know what to do I could just buy a new module and it would be good ?
You could but they are expensive like $100 something
Buy non polarity sensitive LED lights so you don't fumble around. The 2 center slider lights are 12 volt and the rest are 6 volt.

Appreciate the feedback - It could be the polarity is different for different trucks/Years. This worked for me so I assumed it would work for others.
