If I may answer..
the name Allah is known as the proper name of the one true God since the time of Ibrahim (SAW) and was not new revelation to the prophet Muhammad (SAW).. the breaking of the name the shaikh gave is a linguistic theory for the roots of the name because even christian and jew Arabs call the one true God (Allah)..
