I've just graduated from Aberdeen this summer - reckon you've got it pretty spot on, I always got flavoured waters when I was getting booze for pres so I would have them in the flat the next day! Hope you love the next two years, I'll be missing it big time! (and I played lacrosse hahaha)

Beth I have just done the exact opposite! I graduated from Napier in the summer and now moving to Aberdeen to start a grad job next week! I would totally recommend the freshers fair (I went every year haha!)
RGU freshers are alongside you. We start earlier. The college in town starts back today. Buses going into Aberdeen from the shire will be mayhem! I'm not sure but do students at Hillhead get a free bus pass for the number 20 bus?
Katy Jones honestly I still had an amazing time in first year. I ended up just going to the pres/flat parties that I could and when everyone went out, I just went to bed haha! Sounds a bit boring but most of that happen on a night out happen at the flat parties anyway, so you don’t feel like you’re missing out. And you save A LOT of money haha!
I looked for flats on sites likes Rightmove and Zoopla, and there tends to be flats from 1 bed to 7 beds in Aberdeen! Most students stay in university accommodation in first year then look for a private flat for the remaining years
It's not 'difficult', there are lots of student flats around the city. But if you want to get a nice one, that's when you need to be fast! They go very quickly

Why were you 17 at uni?
I was quite young for my year and stayed on at school for as long as I could and still, I was 17
I could have taken a year out but I thought I may as well just go to uni because I knew what I wanted to do!
