Love sending HUGS to family and friends, and these cool ways to use this oversized die are fabulous. Thanks for the chance to win this awesome Waffleflower Kit!
Thank you for showcasing a big die! Lately companies have been coming out with little scene making dies and they are not my cup at all. Bigger is better IMO 😂
So many great ideas! I have a lot of one word dies that I never know what to do with - now I do! Thanks, Julie. You always give me so much inspiration.
The plastic bag trick is really neat. I love the size of this hugs die and the cards you make are super fun. I’ve been curious how to use foil and your last card was useful for me. What a great kit giveaway. ❤
This is the first time I have seen one of your videos. I stumbled upon this one and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I like your style, your voice and it sounds like you are having so much fun. Love it. Thank you Julie! Looking forward to more ideas and inspiration. ❤️
Well, you've certainly inspired me! So many ideas (really love the foiling with StickIt!). I can't wait to get to my craft table and try these out. I really love that big hugs die!
Good morning Julie! I love these cards! I’m definitely going to give these ideas a go but maybe with a happy die. I’ve got a lot of birthday cards to make. Even though they are clean and simple cards, I think they would still get a wow from the recipient!
Thanks-I love to focus on one thing and seeing how many different ways it could be used! I get overwhelmed when I have too many things to choose from, LOL!
I love these cards! What a great way to put a smile on someone’s face! I make cards for retirement home residents, I’m sure they would love to receive cards made with these hugs dies. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us, Julie. 💕
I really like the colors you chose. I see rainbows EVERYWHERE, and I REALLY ENJOY non-rainbow. So these limited, gorgeous colors are just wonderful. I like the font on of the letters---and the size--it makes quite a statement.
Great ideas. It is so nice to use a greeting like ‘hugs’ that is warm and loving without saying ‘love’. That giant hugs die certainly makes a statement.
Fantastic CAS cards! Thank you for so much inspiration on using this big sentiment! I love all of your ideas, especially the glossy accents on that very cool patterned paper and the paper cutting technique on the Healing Hugs card! Great colors, too!
Thank you! It prevents the paper from getting stuck in the die; this way you don't have to stop and use the pokey holes to eject the paper--in this case, having that thin layer of plastic ejects the die from the paper so you can quickly lift and move the die down the paper and keep cutting. This is especially helpful when you need to cut multiples of the same shape. 😉
If you've ever needed to cut multiples of the same shape, it can take a great deal of extra time to eject each shape out, one at a time, using the ejection holes and a piercing tool (or a pin or whatever you like to use) before you can run it through again. The thin plastic of the shopping bag serves to eject/release the paper from the die ( or, in this case, separate the die from the paper) so you can just lift it quickly and move it down the paper.
The hugs card wither glossy accents is just amazing! Thank you for the fantastic ideas!

I must admit I’m a sucker for foil! 🤣

So cool. Love your vid's!

Always like your cards! Julie
Thanks so much! 😊
Love all the cards techniques. I do have a question: what is the purpose of placing the plastic bag when die cutting?
Now what does the plastic do exactly? If you didn’t use the plastic what would happen? Great cards!
I love all of these ideas. You can use any word dies.
@@JulieEbersole thank you for explaining! What a great idea. I will have to give this a go! 😃
