Ei’s friends and makoto didn’t die in the archon war. Makoto was the first electro archon so she obviously has survived the archon war. Ei’s friends and Makoto passed away during the cataclysm 500 years ago.

Yae miko wouldn't be shocked at anything unless it was abt the reunion part with kuni and ei but either way yae already knows Makoto is dead and knows about Khaenri'ah and the archon war, she's been ei's friend for ages so nothing would surprise her, to state this reason at 6:27 she wouldn't be shocked.
