I love! that engine sound! I've never flown in the B717, but it's a plane I'd love to fly in. I do wish Boeing made more of these jets. I wonder why they discontinued making these, because they're amazing. It's too bad, because I think they surpass the CRJs by a long shot. I do wonder if they're smoother? I've heard they're a bit cramped, but I think that depends on where you sit and how the airline arranges the cabin. Also, did you use the GoPro to record this? I would really have loved it if the audio would have been in true stereo. If you listen to this with headphones, you'll notice the sound is "cramped" between your ears instead of that wider, more open sound as if you were inside the airplane again. If you listen to any of the videos produced by "Train Plane Hub", you'd know right away how good that sound is compared to this. I hope you aren't offended.
