This is REST DAY 2 in Hamilton, Montana at a Warm Showers of my first bikepacking learn as I go solo adventure!
In this episode I awake in the adorable town of Hamilton, Montana to amazing waffles made by Peggy, a garden tour and brief lesson about garlic from Warren. Later I meet some international bikepackers who "Got fed up with their jobs and quit".

What a great couple Warren and Peggy are. The perfect Host and Hostess. And what a beautiful story the traveling couple have, they are living the dream while young enough to enjoy it completely. More people should do that. And Warren's garden is very healthy looking, love the garlic. We grow garlic here on the veggie farm I work on. Love the stuff. And the story ends with a wonderful healthy meal. What a day!! You are blessed. Thanks for posting!!❤

Honestly, one of the greatest unspoken treasures in any human powered adventure are the (non-murdery) trail angels that take you in or share even a morsel of food and goodwill. They share a small part of their lives albeit cowsh!t backstories or garlic bulb wrapping ratios and you find yourself oddly fascinated.....and damnit, then I'm fascinated. Round and round we go.
