There have been few (less than 10) queens, and most of them did not have long reigns. Only Elizabeth II and Victoria. All of the other queens were only spouses of the monarch (like Camilla). They didn't "reign".

No doubt this this has brought back many unpleasant memories of his mom's funeral. I'm not a huge Harry fan, but that poor little guy's face that day, my heart hurt for him, and when I saw the card with "mummy" written on it on her coffin, I cried my eyes out. Anyone who saw it that day knew that the boys would be broken forever.

I live with that regret now, my father passed away last year of Covid-19, I never imagined he will had died from it, my relationship with him was bad in the last 2 years before he died, all because of my ex wife, she put a lot of pressure on my family and when I finished the divorce it was 3 months after my father passed away, my divorce lasted 3 years because of her. I remember him every day and I always said I love you to my 3 year old son, because I don’t want him or me to go the same what happened with my father, I really wish I had told him I love him and to forgive me.

I held in my tears for 2 yrs after my mother died tragically in front of me and I had to give her CPR . I told her I would save her and I couldnt ! When I finally did cry I felt so much better . No doubt this this has brought back many unpleasant memories of his mom's funeral. I'm not a huge Harry fan, but that poor little guy's face that day, my heart hurt for him, and when I saw the card with "mummy" written on it on her coffin, I cried my eyes out. I live with that regret now, my father passed away last year of Covid-19, I never imagined he will had died from it, my relationship with him was bad in the last 2 years before he died, all because of my ex wife, she put a lot of pressure on my family and when I finished the divorce it was 3 months after my father passed away, my divorce lasted 3 years because of her. I remember him every day and I always said I love you to my 3 year old son, because I don’t want him or me to go the same what happened with my father, I really wish I had told him I love him and to forgive me.

It wasn't enough that the queen was watching a man she had been married to for decades dying, she had to deal with the utter bs and disrespect shown to her, her husband, and the entire rest of the family. You don't treat someone you love like that.
I could have respected their decision to bow out of royal duties if they had actually just gone about their lives. Neither of them have done anything worthwhile since they left, and have relied on trashing the family for income. My heart broke for the queen because of his actions and words.

For Harry and William the Queen was a mother to them looking at the time in thier life they lost their mother and the Queen stepping up to fill that role. A lot went behind the scenes as the Queen the grandmother cum mother to the boys stepped up to fill that role of a mother in the lives of the two boys.
Even more with Harry's case and recent interactions between the royal family, this loss means a lot much more to Harry.
If you have lost a loved one who meant so much in your life, you know what that means. Its a lifetime of experiencing that loss and how you cope with those crisis episodes of feeling that loss.
I hope the whole royal family will find strength to accept this loss and common ground to move forward in unity. This was the Queen's wish.

Until I read some of the comments, I didn't know how this was going down. It's pleasing to know that we still have our hearts, our empathy, and most of all, our sincere sympathy. Prince William had a very close relationship with Queen Elizabeth II who was also his grandmother with fun banter. Losing someone you love is never easy. My heart goes to William, and to all who had close ties to the Queen , especially the family.

Crying is a sign of courage and strength.We are human not robots . Crying is a form of healing and an important step in the grief cycle. I held in my tears for 2 yrs after my mother died tragically in front of me and I had to give her CPR . I told her I would save her and I couldnt ! When I finally did cry I felt so much better . It is true "Grief is the price we pay for love ".

I had to come over here and give my respect to the Queen, am from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, I didn't think I would cry, but I'm up at 5:35 crying didn't see that coming, well I'll tell you one thing ,she gave it a hell of a run, I hope I'm blessed to see her age, and the King he is hurt, he going to be crying so hard at that close funeral, that's his mama, you know how close men with they mama ,he was upset with his dad died ,but his mama he's distraught, so I will be sitting here watching it on my TV until it's over, God bless the queen and God bless the new king🥺😙😗
