    The black does pull it out into the cone, you do also need to flush the black. Its just because the inside is black so you don't see it. The black uses a higher volume of air but at a lower psi, just like a HVLP paint gun.

    Hey Dan
    Thanks for the comparison. Helped me lot with most of my skepticism. Have you tried to see if any parts for the black are interchangeable with the original (i.e. the nozzle, the cone, etc)? Also, great tip on the swivel connector. Any info where you got it?

      sorry for the delayed response. I am glad if I helped because I know most people don't buy both so they just don't know the truth. I did look to see if I could swap some parts and they would not work right. I didn't have it in the video but I now have a stainless still cone for the classic. The idea being that you shouldn't have to replace the cone and possibly not the inner liquid tube as often. that was one of the down sides to the classic is that you had to replace those if you used the tool a lot. but the stainless steel cone should help solve that. and I cannot remember if the swivel came from home depot, lowes, or on amazon. but it's def worth getting

    So, the issue is that the black one does not suck the dirt and the water backup, right? And, does the black one have the little tube inside that spins around? Today is the first day I have seen a commercial for this object!

    You need a stronger compressor for the Black version, preferably 6 bar (don´t go higher though).

    Isnt it easier to just use a carpet extractor for floormats, carpet & seats
    I think this is just made for door panels and trim rather than cloth. To me it just seems like its more time consuming

    • @JohnSmith-yl9en

      I´m wondering if it doesn´t drive dirt deeper into the pile, hiding it.
      I´ve seen comments reporting how it scatters dirt everywhere, so I guess that its best use is for very tight spots, and those carpets you can bring outdoors.
      I will probably use a steam extractor in most cases after vacuuming, and use the Tornador to aid in drying,
      whatever water the extractor doesn´t pick up.

      It’s works amazing on cloth seats, but from my experience even with Shampoo, brush, and Tornador, you should still use and extractor with enzyme to get a real professional deep clean look.

    • @dandansdetailing9755

      sorry for the delayed response. i run them at 90psi that is the max so running above that will lead to quicker wear and tear. and i have a 21 gallon tank that puts out 4.7 cfm at 90. I can run the tornador classic non stop but the black I had to stop every couple of minutes to let the compressor catch back up to 90 psi. that's one of the big reasons I prefer the classic over the black

    • @dandansdetailing9755
      @dandansdetailing9755  6 років тому +1

      yes it will but you just might not be able to run it non stop but you can still get the job done. from what I have heard that's a good compressor. but I would get the extended warranty

  • @fvckthemkids
    @fvckthemkids 5 років тому +5

    The classic uses like 4-5 cfm.... The black uses about 6 cfm.... At full power the black outperforms the classic...try it on a compressor big enough to run it properly.

      @darker3rrr 5 років тому +1

      I'm From Europe and I got the Tornador Black S Z-020S and you are correct it uses more air but outperforms the Classic by a mile :) all you need a compressor with 3HP+ and possibly above 40 gallons.

    • @ms3er396
      @ms3er396 4 роки тому +3

      Agree. I LOL at so many on UA-cam using small portable units thinking it''s going to work. The tank isn't the most important factor either, it's the SCFM rating. These tools use 5-6scfm's and if you buy a compressor rated only at that same level, it's going to burn up rather quickly as it's going to need to run all the time. Most compressors have a life based on 50% run-time thus if you're not running a compressor that can cycle OFF during your use, then it's just a matter of time before it will die an early death. The pistons need to cool.
      The Minimum to be safe is one that will put out 10-12cfm's. This way even with a larger tank once the machine cycles ON it will continue to drive the gun at a full 90psi while simultaneously filling the tank back up thus allowing for it to finally cycle OFF and cool down a bit.

    You said your mats was light color like your tailgate...sorry but your mat appears to be darker and even after passes with both tools I dont see a real difference.

    Funny how people can no longer read now days. This company must be shaking their heads and laughing at him because he can not pronounce the name correctly.
    They even put a picture on the bottle to help the people today pronounce it correctly. Lol Ill give you a hint. You take the word tornado it's pronounced the same just replace add an R at the end so the ending ends with or Tor-na-dor
