Generally the idea of owning a wild animal like this is something that should be frowned upon, but hearing the back story and seeing that this Puma clearly is loving his humans and his life, it’s a RARE exception. Congrats on being one of the few, if only, human who have a big cat as a pet and it be acceptable.
You should check out (the lion whisperer) (Dean Schneider) and Luna_the_pantera on UA-cam they all do amazing job raising wild animals in captivity

The puma is a lot more patient and well mannered than any cat i ever saw... It is even easier to handle than any dog... The puma was used to the routine of washing off the paws, i would have a hard time attempting to do that with a dog.
My family's dog is hard to get in to the shower, which he needs to do every now and then, he stinks if he is left to do his own cleaning. + He has a very smelly breath because he is so old. He has rotten teeth, so people do not like to pet him as much any more 😞 it truly is a shame. And we do pet, and cuddle with him still though, but it is a big sacrifice every time.
Would love a puma though, this one acted more like a dog than a cat 🙂😉 he even slipped under the bed, just like our dog Tyson 😃
