I think they've hit a good compromise on some teams being national and some not. Otherwise they'd have to break up some teams, or have some teams be weird fits (e.g. the Team England on which nobody was even remotely English). Or create situations where, if for example Team AoF was still Team Mexico, we could never have had an actual Team Mexico like in 14. I would however like to see the non-national teams have their own banners. Like Team Mexico flies the Mexican flag, but Team AoF flies the banner of the Kyokugenryu school, Ikari has a military banner, etc.
@@maninredhelm The excuse SNK gave on nationalities were mostly because those teams were on that country at the time they were chosen to participate. It looks like some places in Southtown are worldwide chains, shown in 94 where Pao Pao Cafe and the Kyokugenryu dojo both had their place in Mexico too
The Lone Wolves baby! This was always my favorite team in '94, mainly because they were the only characters i was actually familiar with at the time, having played Fatal Fury 1 and 2 a lot, lol.
For someone who has grown used to playing these games on the Neo Geo CD, the little missing details (like the absence of taunts on the order select screen and the fact that all fighters fall with Daimon's Jiraishin except Kyo and Benimaru starting from Kof'95) were compensated with these wonderful arranged tracks.
While this is clearly higher quality, there's something about the in-game OST version that hits home more than this one. I just like the sound of it better.
