I have had them in my BOM 05 for 2 years now. The mounts are really nice and super well made...BUT....I just took them out.
I have Solid Hasports all around, motor/trans and 3rd member.
Take a wild guess what happened over time...
Fucking car has squeaks and rattles in places that are impossible to get. The headliner, window trim, seat belt area on both sides, rear hatch, passenger side airbag cover, kick panel.. that much vibration over time. Not good for a car that isnt being nut and bolt checked after each race.
70a poly is a good compromise and way way more than enough for a street car. I will say though when banging gears with the 2 way lsd, a 8.8lb FW and some 5.10 gear, even 240whp feels like a race car haha.
Awesome video and content man. I always love to see people who still keep wrenching on their own cars. Especially the DC5. Everyone makes R32 GTR content, which I like to watch since I have one, but quality DIY and video in general of USDM DC5 Type S is few and far between.

I’m rock’n 62A Hasport mounts, vibration is there but not too bad for having more response than stocks

Buy an aftermarket tps and knock sensor if you didn’t already, stiffer mounts tend to ruin the OEM ones faster.

@@Mr_2500hd_ms3_dillon I got a ktuned tps, been running fine no problems. I hear good things about acuity as well. My Rsx is a k24 turbo on hasport mounts so it does get abused lol

My Vibra-technics motor mounts just came in, can't wait to install them! My stock ones are clapped lol

Vibrations are very minimal. Would recommend for daily use.

I bought the same mount a few months ago. Was thinking of installing them today but i dont want to remove the header 😭

I have them, they don't vibrate crazy.
They don't. They also broke in since the video was filmed and the vibration has gotten much milder.

for $300 not bad. I would hate the vibration feel, but it's worth it

Next time, don't remove the header. You just temove the airbox and take the mount and bracket out the top.
Did you guys have to do anything different for the power steering to fit on the little slide? The motor mount is in the way of mine sliding back on
I dont think so
The rear is the easiest, i just remove the header and slide the mount
Hey Roy, I've been looking to buy a type s spoiler for my 02 rsx but the ones on amazon and ebay seem kinda off. Did you guys get yours with your cars or buy them afterwards ?

Hasport mounts trash . They cause mad drone and vibration . Innovative Mounts is where it’s at
Dont buy plm motor mounts they dont fit
